Story

Joe's Wigram is a friendly neighbourhood eatery in the heart of Wigram Skies in Christchurch.

We're open every day from 7 for breakfast and espresso, with the kitchen open right through lunch and 'til about 9 every night, serving up dinner and drinks.

Joe's is fully licensed and proudly pours Asahi on tap.

Most importantly, we keep it casual here and don't take bookings. Please just come on in and say hello. We'll get you seated as soon as we can and show you a great time.

Just had lunch with my son here. Ordered the Autobahn - crumbed schnitzel and fries with gravy. Part of schnitzel was half raw, it oozed oil when cut and crumb coating pale and spongy. Not a crunchy crumb in sight ! Cooked in oil not hot enough or long enough. Waitress said it could be sent back to be cooked more but my son was half way through his meal and we had a time restraint . Came back and offered drinks. Neither of us drink or had time to. Usually good food. Must of been off day for chef. At a glance you could see it wasn't cooked well at all. Expensive chips and gravy, which were great. Very disappointing.

Great food! Had the Bacon, banana picklets with maple syrup for lunch which was amazing! Staff are very friendly and check-in regularly. Coffee came out at the perfect temperature to drink straight away. We were seated straight away although it was very busy so you may want to make a reservation during peak times.

Great food, staff and atmosphere! Awesome bar tucked away in new part of town. Work group mid-week get together, didn't disapoint

Fantastic food, fantastic environment. Great selection of GF and DF food and very helpful knowledgeable staff who could accommodate anything in most meals on the menu.
