Jamaica Blue Mt Gravatt

I was gifted the opportunity to visit Jamaica Blue and give honest feedback on my experiences. I arrived, chose a table that needed to be cleared and waited for my friends to arrive. A team member came over and cleared the table but did not wipe the table down even though there were visible crumbs which was a but disappointing, they were quite busy though so I think it was just overlooked. I had to wait for a while for my friends to arrive because traffic and parking were quite difficult on a rainy day so close to Christmas and I was not pressured into leaving or ordering which was very refreshing. Service was very friendly and our order arrived very quickly, coffees and babycino were delicious, very smooth and flavourful, not at all bitter. After a while I asked for some water for our table which was happily promptly delivered, we also indulged in some chips which came out, hot and crunchy very quickly. Very happy with everything we ordered and the wonderful service, I will return.

I had bad experiences at some Jamaica Blues in the past, but I work in this centre and they open early so I gave them a shot. All their baristas are experienced so coffee is consistently good. Today I had breakfast, and this review is to recommend you their "In house menu" flick the first page wich is the standard franchise menu and you will find some gems there. Thank me later :

Nice brunch! Food toasted on request. Scone was fresh and hot. Croissant was made vegetarian on request, tomato and cheese only.

Great location in the shopping centre. Staff were super friendly and were able to help us choose some delicious drinks off their menu. It did take a bit long for drinks to arrive, but it made for it in taste.

Beautiful coffee and nibbles to eat. The first customer of the day gets a free coffee wich is nice. Disabled access and plenty of seating always available.

Having never been to Jamaica Blue before we were given the opportunity to try the coffees and give some feedback. The Mt Ommaney store was very busy but was adequately staffed and we were served in an efficient and friendly manner. We had the iced latte and coffee frappe and both had the perfect amount of coffee and the frappe was blended perfectly. We will definitely be back.

Been there twice and disappointed both times. First time was a grumpy male staff and coffee was horrible. Today, just a quick fresh toasted croissant order. Took way longer than it should. For some reason, the front of house staff would not put the croissant in the bag instead waiting for the kitchen person to do it. #badsystem. Croissant was over priced, not fresh, cold and hard.
