This gem of tasty pho noodles is tucked away in a small shopping mall between Castlereagh Street and Elizabeth Street up the escalator if you're coming from Castlereagh. The entrance from Castlereagh is easy to find - opposite the Gucci shopfront in Sydney Westfield. It's easy to get a seat, even at lunch time, but don't worry - it's only because of the hidden location... the food is good!
Just awful. I agree with everything the other reviewer says. The rendang beef is not rendang beef as I know it and I lived in Indonesia for 7 years so I know my rendang!. The nasi goreng was dreadful. The chicken satay sticks were so full of msg it almost melted by tongue. If you're looking for good Asian food, IndoChine is NOT the place to find it.
This place is rather pricey - $16 for a bowl of pho but i find it delicious and probably my favourite pho place in the middle of the city. I only get the pho here so i can't say much about the other dishes. I love the chili oil condiment they provide at this place. goes so well with the pho. They also do a good cafe sua da
Terrible customer service - do not go unless you have 2-3 hours to kill. We pre-ordered lunch for 17 people to arrive at 1pm. The food only arrived at 2pm after I complained numerous times and stood by while food went to other tables. We only had 1 minute to scoff down our food and get indigestion. Many people had to leave before the food arrived. They only offered us a tiny discount. They dealt with the whole situation terribly - I will never go back!
