From the first day when I walked into the bank for a chat about a new loan to the day I signed off the loan papers, I have experienced nothing but friendly and professional behaviour from the staff at Canberra City branch. They do ask for a lot of information before loan is approved but can’t complain if they want to be thorough and do not want to make false promises. In the end, I did get the best rate in the market, much lower than other banks I spoke to, and was able to buy my first house. Thank you Monty and team. Keep up the good work!!
IMB is hands down the best bank I have ever had membership with. The Canberra City branch has exceptional customer service and after years with a big 4 bank I value more than ever the quality service, products and thoughtfulness of the staff. You might be wondering why I use the word ‘thoughtfulness’, it’s because they go above and beyond. Can’t say enough great things about IMB.
I would recommend IMB Canberra City. Monty at IMB was recommended to me by a friend and I don't regret moving to them. Monty in particular really took care of us and took the time to help us as we moved over to IMB. He really made the process easy and I didn't feel like we were just dealing with another bank. I would recommend Monty at IMB.
Marcella at the civic branch for IMB was very professional, friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. After wasting so much time with bigger banks like CBA, NAB, St George and ANZ - it was very refreshing to be treated like an actual person again. Highly recommended.
Friendly staffs , unfortunately worst system , worst bank I ever come across , waste of time . If it allow me I’ll say No star at all . Frustrating bank. Don’t let the interest rate fool you , went to check bank review and all people face the same issues . I should check the review earlier before walking in their door can save me from hassle .

Being a decade old IMB customer this is a frill free bank to deal with if you are fed up with the big guns, friendly staff always ready to assist.
