We came to this store today to buy a packet of penne pasta for dinner. On returning to the car we noticed the bag had bugs inside with the pasta. We took it back and when we entered the staff member said “has that got bugs in it? Which means they knew. They then gave us another bag. When we got outside in the light this bag also had bugs in it. So we took it back. The nice young guy working there was very helpful and apologised and gave us a refund. The other 2 senior staff members who watched all of this happening did not speak a word. I suggested they take all the bags off the shelf as it’s disgusting. The young guy said he agreed while again the other 2 senior staff just looked at us. The products did not have an expiry date at all on the packaging and also the writing on the back was not in English.nThis is disgusting that the products are infested with bugs, the store knows and they are still selling the products. Do not buy anything from here. This is a health concern. I will never go there again and will be reporting them.
I have just moved to the Robina area and cannot believe the standard of the IGA. It’s so inconvenient never stocked out of date products I now have to go to the easy tcentre to find anything.
Twice in the past week have been served by person talking on blue tooth ignoring the fact that I am standing right in front of himnHe is rude slow and definitely lacking any kind of customer service.wont ever be back after being loyal customer for 10 plus years.
I've lived in Robina now for 10 years and have to say it is the worst IGA I have ever been to . It has just changed hands and still hasn't gotten any better, shelves are always empty and who ever is your supplier is for your milk is hopeless.
Great staff team there, managers are lovely and so are the staff, really good work, keep up the great work team!
