It’s a huge XL coles, great bakery. Even have quite times for this who don’t like just bright lights etc. team is friendly, location is fantastic right inside the town centre near the kitchens and opposite pharmacy and sushi place and it’s goes on and on. Easy and endless parking.
Just a heads-up for anyone buying milk here: make sure to check the expiry dates carefully. When I came in on May 20th, the only 3L full cream milk available on the shelves was expiring on May 28th—leaving just 8 days of shelf life. In comparison, I bought milk from ALDI on May 17th, and the expiry date was May 29th. If you want fresher milk with a proper shelf life, you might want to check ALDI or Woolworths instead, or at least double-check the bottles here before buying.
Was denied service at the staffed register and told to go through the self checkouts because the staff member had to go to the bathroom. Seriously. Have more staff on call for these situations. I’m sick of using the self serve checkouts when there always an issue and only one staff member to deal with multiple machines stalled….. can’t win. I ditched my goods and went to Woolworths.
Rude, terrible attitude from the old lady at self check out. Its been more than once shes rude to my mother and my family. I've complained already and she's still there. No improvements. Just make it a self check out with AI if you guys plan to keep using staffs with an attitude
As far as coles stores go this one is pretty good. I did like it a bit better when they had the fresh meat on display and butchers available but there's a butcher out the front anyway.
