Edit Fri 12 Dec 2025nJust letting people know that this place has a generator which means they are able to open and pump petrol even during power outages. Blackheath experienced an 8.5 hour power outage from 11.30 pm 30 Nov 2025 - 7.57 am 1 Dec 2025. The IGA was open promptly at 6 am as usual. The BP was completely closed. I was able to fill up the tank which meant I could drive around powering up things like my phone and watch, particularly in case the power was going to remain off for any greater length of time. I was also able to purchase 9 volt batteries to power my husband's electric lift chair which he found himself stuck in due to the power being out. Thank God for this place. You guys are the best!n____________________________________nnFantastic grocery/petrol station. Plenty of parking and two public toilets around the back. Huge range of products including fresh fruit and veg, meats, cakes, etc. Good prices. Well staffed and they are friendly and helpful. Cheaper petrol than the Blackheath BP.
Made a phone order for a medium mocha with almond milk, and requested to be warm, I picked it up within the 5 minutes of driving there, thank you for good customer service.

The staff are friendly and welcoming, the place is clean and well maintained, and there is a wide variety of items to choose from.
Well the staff member that worked here was nice and very helpful. A little depressed but I won't hold that against him. It was 2°c when I was there, so I don't blame him.nnThe store is conveniently located and parking is at the back, which can be a little confusing for some.nnThe store has a decent selection of products here as well. So why the 1 star?nnAs I was attempting to shop I noticed things out of date. Some with reduced marking, some without. This is not the actions of a store that respects their clients. As such, don't go here.
