Loves to sell out of date products, that is actually illegal to do. Likes to sell products that are on the day expired for more then half the price. I think the food authorities need to monitor this joint because soon enough food poisoning will occur and I'm sure the owner will blame the shopper for it. Haven't heard many good reviews either. Adding when you see for yourself it's a eye opener
I came all the way from Newtown because I miss the old Newtown Foodworks because the ALDI giants took over and crushed the Foodwork Newtown vibe. It was nice to be back in a Foodworks, one day they might come back to Newie.

I'll repeat what many people have said. The costs on the shelf are higher than elsewhere. Considering the elderly in the area in many cases almost exclusively shop here for ease of access, that's a concern. Further many times we have found food for the freezer has clearly defrosted and been refrozen. You can tell especially with the ice cream, the refrost on the outside of other goods is very clear, has been happening for years.nnThough I can confirm the kids who serve at the checkouts are polite and well natured mostly, except a couple of deadpan ones.
