Good...but different! In easy to navigate aisles, expect to find a vast selection of products, some supporting Aussie grown.....the meat prices are quite good and there are weekly bargains to be had.The centre aisles are a must see.... checking out is quick and efficient and thene is plenty of parking .
Lovely staff here. I especially like the lady of Italian decent named Jodie at the cashier, she’s so nice & always so kind to customers even annoying ones haha she’s always got time for everyone, I don’t know how she has the patience but good on her. Makes my day.nShelves are always well stocked, plenty to choose from. Always ample parking. My go to store for groceries for sure.
Did the fortnightly shop at Katoomba ALDI, as usual the workers were busy keeping everything stocked up. The shop looked great.nShout out to Luke who is Enthusiastic, happy to serve and always initiates friendly banter with customers as he stocks shelves or serves at the register. A truly quality employee.
Like most other Aldi stores. Has a good range of foods supplies and other items you didn't know you needed until you see them. As usual good prices and the car park had plenty of spots
In my experience the bag searches at the Katoomba shop are intimidating and aggressive. I was purchasing items at the self serve when a 50yo+ male staff member, with glasses insisted I have a bag search. I was in the middle of purchasing and paying for items and I requested he wait until I completed the payment, he become forceful, treated me as guilty until proven innocent, he made a scene when I objected to how he was treating me and I left the store without any of the shopping I had tried to purchase. I also witnessed this same male staff member treat others in this rude, aggressive manner, his bag searches are intimidating and no one should be treated like a criminal until they prove they are innocent. I have not gone back to this store since and I won’t be going back.
