I did have a little trouble getting the appointment but once I there I had a wonderful experience. The beautician was a lovely and professional girl who didn't try to hard sell - a refreshing change - just gave me an offer as I was leaving which is available on their web site. Would go again.

TERRIBLE. Didn't honour a Groupon deal I purchased so I wasted $130. They said they'd overbooked the deal and it wasn't their fault. Basically 'TOO BAD' was the message I got. They repeatedly told me they'd call back with an availability for the week before my wedding - they didn't. I chased then got told sorry you've missed out on the voucher period. Hopeless.

I purchased a Portable CE Fat Cavitation device from the Why Pay Full Price website. The Portable CE Fat Cavitation device laser pack was for $109 with I-Beaute Skin and Body salon in Chatswood. It malfunctioned after only a couple of uses so I phoned the I-Beaute Skin and Body salon in Chatswood and spoke to Portia. She told me to return it which I did and that she would replace it. Since I returned the device I had made a dozen of phone calls to her in about 4 months and each time she had told me she had posted out a replacement. She also said that she had sent it by registered post and when I had asked her for the number she told me she could not find it. Finally I had asked Portia for a refund. She told me she would and to email her my bank details which I did. Still no refund and so I rang her again and Portia told me she had forgotten about it so she would do it straight away. After about a week I rang Portia again and told her that I had not received the refund in my bank account, Portia told me she did transfer it and after checking my email with my bank details on it told me that she put it to the wrong account number. More games she was playing with me. Portia told me that she would ring the bank as it would probably bounce back to her and to give her my mobile number and she will get straight back to me. Two days later still no call from Portia so I rang her again really frustrated and very angry by then, I so was at my wits end by now, I had returned the device back to her so she had that and also my money. I told her that if the refund is NOT in my bank account by the next few days then I will be contacting Consumer Rights and reporting her and that she will have to deal with them. After 5 months of having to deal with Portia she had finally transferred the money across to my bank account and now I will no longer have to take this further as I was so prepared to do so. She has caused me months of total stress as I know now that she never intended on replacing or refunding me until I told her that I was not going to give up and contact Consumer Rights. I had contacted Why Pay Full Price regarding this and I have been told that ‘this will be looked into by their management so they are aware and can look into this dealing and others by this merchant’.

I purchased a laser pack from the Groupon website. The laser pack was for $199 with I-Beaute Skin and Body salon in Chatswood. When I purchased the voucher, it stated that the offer was valued at $4000 and was valid for 6 months. Prior to purchasing the laser pack, I phoned the I-Beaute Skin and Body salon in Chatswood directly to confirm that if I purchased the voucher, I would be able to use it to laser the top half of my legs as I did not want to be caught out by the fine print. The women I spoke with confirmed it would be valid and so I purchased the laser pack. My appointments were as follows: My first appointment was with Portia who informed me that my voucher was not valid for the top half of my legs. I explained how I had called to confirm this would be fine and after some mild negotiation, Portia reluctantly approved doing the top half of my legs on the condition that she would give me limited laser zaps. I was unhappy about this but reluctantly agreed as I did not want to appear difficult and I was looking forward to my treatment. My second appointment I was unpleasantly greeted by Portia who told me to return in 45 minutes as they were running behind schedule. I asked her why I wasn’t informed of this earlier and she told me that their phone lines had been down the last few days and they could not get a hold of their customers. I left it at that and had my second treatment. I arrived at my third appointment feeling uneasy and unwelcome due to the poor service thus far. I had a different staff member administer the laser treatment this time. She was a younger female so appeared to lack confidence and experience. She zapped me with the laser instrument repeatedly over the same area on my thigh and I found it painful and expressed this. She just giggled and continued to zap with the laser. My fourth appointment ran smoothly except when I mentioned my concern to Portia about the younger staff member who treated me the previous week. Portia showed a lack of interest in my concern. My fifth and final visit, I arrived punctually, as usual but this time was told that my appointment had been cancelled because the machines were broken. I asked why I was not contacted about this and was told by Portia that they tried to call me. I did not receive any text messaged regarding this and only saw a missed call from a private number, so was obviously unable to return an unaddressed phone number. I was frustrated that I drove to Chatswood for my appointment and did not receive any notice of my cancellation nor an apology upon my arrival. I expressed to Portia that I was dissatisfied with the service they had provided me and their poor customer service. She responded with trying to re-schedule another appointment for the following week. I explained that I no longer was interested in being their customer and I requested a refund. Portia told me to take my concerns to Groupon and that she was not going to deal with me. I left feeling disappointed and dissatisfied. I spent $199 for poor customer service.
