I saw a great Doctor, Khalid Shareef. He is kind, caring and always happy to help. This practice still bulk bills which is good. Thank you for doing this as I have multiple conditions and bulking billing helps me manage them without being too much on the hip pockets. I feel like more of a patient here than a number. By the way, I have stopped seeing one of the male doctors here because he make me feel like a cash grab. No name calling but he has few one star reviews.
The doctors that I have seen here are pretty good, caring and have been able to help me when needed. My 1 star review is based on the running of the practice. Firstly, I have worked in a medical admin role and it is pretty basic that if a doctor is running an hour behind - you call their clients just to let them know. I WAS a patient here for a couple of years and sooo many times my doctor has been running behind and not once did I ever receive a courtesy call to let me know that my doctor was running behind. It’s a great inconvenience. Secondly, I had previously scheduled an appointment to see a doctor and I showed up on time and patiently waited. I sat in the practice for 45+ minutes waiting for this particular appointment and I had to get to work so I asked the admin staff if I was able to reschedule for another time, the admin staff said yes but I would have to pay a cancellation fee Key takeaways from here, the doctors are good, the administration of the practice has definite room for improvement - and if you choose to go to a different GP and transfer your records from this practice be prepared to fork out some $$$
Amazing clinic! No complaints. Receptionists were all lovely, polite and professional. Especially Amanda who was incredibly helpful. Dr Bhavesh Nakarja was wonderful! Calm, attentive, supportive and gave space to really listen to and work with his patient. Very friendly team and a positive experience, would definitely recommend.
Be prepared to wait. This clinic has eternally late doctors. Even when you book the earliest time slot, they disrespectfully walk in late. Sometimes arriving a full hour after the time your appointment is rushing in like nothing is wrong. They don’t even apologise either. This has happened 4 times now. They also encourage you to book online but even when you log in with your password into your account, their system creates a new profile and the receptionists always try to make you fill out a form again like you’re a new patient even when you stress you aren’t a new patient and this happens every time and that there are multiple profiles because the booking system simply doesn’t work. It’s a shambles.
Wonderful experience with Dr. Aster Lau. Dr. Lau did a great job with my family my 2 daughters and my husband ever health exam. She explained everything to me in a very clear manner. She was also kind and friendly. All of the staff was great – they were helpful, patient and helped with Medicare.
I had a bad experience with Dr. Khan a couple of months ago. I was feeling unwell but there was no caring factor and no therapeutic communication. I felt judge coming from a different ethnic background. I was just asking for a medical exemption for the covid booster until I get better but he was instead explaining me the health policy in Australia.
Absolutely Amazing and wonderful staff. I found them a few months ago due to previous medical centre going private and could no longer afford. Alisha and all reception staff are super lovely and helpful, Sagar Sagar is the clinic nurse and he is extremely understanding and professional. Explains things clearly and is there to support. Dr. Nakarja is honestly out of this world. He is by far the best GP I’ve ever had. Both my mum and I have severe medical issues and he is the most patient, understanding, supportive and gentle doctor I have ever encountered, and that is a long list. Truly heaven sent and I could not ask for better support. All other doctors I’ve seen there are also fantastic. There aren’t many medical centres that bulk bill anymore, these guys are absolutely best around.
I have seen Dr Khan and Dr Narkaja and both are brilliant doctors, they are caring, and they listen and extremely helpful. However, the receptionists they have now besides Jack are horrible to deal with. I have been spoken to like an animal, hung up on the phone and almost abused on the phone as well. The receptionists at Cooleman Court are a lot nicer and more compassionate. I love the Drs there but would stay away from the new receptionist group they have.
Couldn't see my regular GP, but all the Doctors there are very good. Have a very high confidence of getting professional consultation everytime, support staff are great too, thank you.
We’re very happy with Hyperdom Medical Centre. Staff are friendly and good doctors. Dr Ikenna Alaebo is my best family doctor.
