Hungry Jack’s is one of my favourite fast-food spots in Australia. The burgers, fries — everything is usually tasty and fresh. However, for this specific Taringa branch, I’d give it 3 stars.nnThe main reason is the consistency of service and food quality. I’ve visited multiple times, and on a few occasions I’ve had to return my food because it was poorly handled, not hot, or tasted stale. Just today, I ordered the seasonal Tropical Fried Chicken Burger meal, and the experience was disappointing. The burger was assembled poorly, the buns were rock-hard and burnt on the inside, and the chicken wasn’t fresh or hot. I had to ask for a replacement. Even the fries were partly burnt and overly salty.nnHungry Jack’s fried chicken burgers are usually one of my favourites, and I choose them over many others — which is why I hope this location pays closer attention to quality and customer satisfaction. I understand it can get busy, but that’s exactly when attention to detail matters most.nnOn a positive note, the ambience here is great. The store is always clean, lively due to its prime location, and there’s plenty of parking available.

Ordered spicy chicken grilled burger but chicken patty was so hard and dry then went to counter to get it changed but again got the same dry and hard chicken. This is disappointing as I paid for it.

My son was ignored when he came to counter with order number and had to wait 15 minutes while staff continued to rudely ignore him.nnWhen I entered the store and repeated the number they said it wasn't in the system and admitted they had ignored my son.nnThe staff did not apologise and did NOTHING about other than say they ignored our order.nnWORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN HUNGRY JACK'S I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED

I got a storm from here, and there is a hole in the middle, half of the dessert is not there. Which is disappointing as I paid full price. Normally to go to the Annerly location and it is 100% better, the give a proper amount of chocolate and ice cream. Not half of it. Also why is the ‘nutella’ different at this location? It is quite disappointing. So if you go here, don’t order the storm.

Dined in just before lunch on a weekday and cleaning is not a priority for this restaurant. From the hand basin in the toilet to the spilled food not cleaned off the tables, there is little care given to the cleaning here. I guess they take more care cleaning in the food prep area? Food was of the expected quality.
