This review is for Hungry Jack’s on Takalvan street and not the one over east.nnVisited here the other day. Did my order on the screen and then went to the bathroom, what a mistake!nThey were feral and I mean that in every sense of the word.nIf your cleaning is that bad then how can I trust that your drink machines and grills, and even the play area are getting the attention to detail they deserve.nI decided to sit in and eat my lunch, as I sat I began to notice the drips down the counter, the food under the long bench and the floor under the long bench as well, it was black grease and old food all the way along.nA staff member came out to clean the tables, all she did was put spray on a cloth and then wipe the table so as all the food was pushed to the floor and on to the seating.nThe owner/ franchisee must have a super low standard for hygiene to allow this to happen day after day, week after week and month after month and to not pull their manager and staff up about it.nAnd yes folks you read correctly, what I saw was not daily dirt on the ground, it was grime from weeks of neglect, if not even longer.nMy money is on much longernIn early 2024 this restaurant was updated and brought into the 21st century with better seats and seating arrangements and self service screens.nToilets were not upgraded.
One of the crappiest stores in Queensland. Extremely poor food. This was how our cheese toasted sandwich came out after being parked. Haven't been back and refuse to go back. I put a complaint into the store and besides being contacted at 9pm on a sunday night, which i refused to answer, got an apology and free toastie when I go back again which won't happen cos we don't want food poisoning. So avoid this store, spend elsewhere.
OMG what a disappointment. I know why we do not do take out very often. The boxes the burgers were in looked like they had been used over and over again. The grease marks on them were old and disgusting. The meat was cold and dried up and the chips were also cold and old. We will never come back while in Bundaberg.
Just popped in for a quick breakfast and coffee to see us through a busy day shifting. The store was clean and tidy and the staff were helpful. Unfortunately, like many places it is recommended you use 1 of the order booths but the staff don't strong arm you like the opposition
Frozen drinks poured 15 minutes before food was even ready, food came to table barely lukewarm, no lids for drinks, no cup trays, overall service was poor. They may have been having a bad day but overall handling of service was deplorable. Would not recommend this store. Maybe with some better support they could do better.
