Tried the new Red Rooster fried chicken Very nice.nI went back for lunch next day and ordered their Red Box combi meal which came with fried chicken burger, 1 piece of fried chicken, chips, potato and gravy and a can of drink. All great quality.nIt had been years since I ate Red Rooster. I will be back. I do like their new fried chicken.nI was staying at Best Western Motor Inn which is just 2 minutes walk away
I ordered 2 ripper roll combos and when we got home the chips were soggy no salt and the contents of the roll was mostly lettuce the chicken was very dry I could only eat 2 mouthfuls and couldn’t eat any more of it.
Food always tastes fresh, staff are always friendly and order is pretty much always correct.
Had to wait for only about 12minutes, people out the back were mucking around, when food was brought to the bench near front count it was thrown onto the bench, there were 4 burgers sitting on the bench when I arrived and they only got put into a bag 1 minute before I got my meal, so unsure how long they were sitting there prior to me getting there. My rooster roll was squashed. The rest of the food was ok. No service with a smile, no good Evening how can I help. I had to speak first, all she said to me was how much it was. Won't be going back here in a hurry.
Wait, time when not busy was like 4 people inside the restaurant and only ordered one item, sweet potato large fries. Was 10min. And people after me were getting their orders before me. Not a happy customer. I'd rather try the bargara rd one. The sweet potato fries are big wedges. The manager should have given it free. Or the next one free on my receipt.
