We had a group booking, waited a long time for our food, although there was one another group also dining there. I had the eye fillet with mushroom & cheese sauce, and spicy rice. My eye fillet seemed quite small, very disappointed with the rice, not very spicy and quite lumpy. Most diners seem to enjoy their meal, a few of the potions were a good size with full stomachs, and leftovers. A warning for those wishing to use the disabled toilet, the door was quite heavy, and the lock would be difficult to use for wheelchair users, I don't recall seeing grab handles either. There are better options available locally for steak lovers.

Worst food experience in a long time. Will not be going back. Seafood platter was cooked from frozen and inedible. Even the chips were dry and no flavour. How do you get chips wrong? We had to cover our wine glass to stop the flying insects from drinking our wine. Blue cheese sauce is gravy with blue cheese flavour. Again not edible. I feel for the staff as they are really nice. Suggest they look for another restaurant. This one won’t be open much longer.

Came tonight ( Easter Sunday ) for my sons birthday (there was no surcharge). The staff were friendly and attentive the food was delicious! The salad bar selection was fresh and tasty. When I asked for extra sauce they were really accommodating. Not that there was a lack of sauce I’m just greedy. My husband was also equally pleased with his steak cooked to perfection which is saying something as he is particular. The fries are like roasted potatoes so scrummy and the pepper sauce was Addictively good. My son loved his ribs and we were all too full for dessert so the staff bought him a plate of jelly beans and wished him a happy birthday! Lovely atmosphere great food reasonable prices friendly staff I couldn’t fault it. We will be back!

Very disappointed after a long wait we got our starters. The mushroom soup was awesome. Then another long wait and my steak was cold my potato was cold when pointed it out they took it back to the kitchen and reheated it. They replaced the potatoe but reheating the t bone steak made it tough. the salad bar what salad there was left was disgusting not good I would not recommend going there for dinner and I will not be returning. The amount we paid we could of done a weeks shopping.

My Wife and I had a lovely meal at The House of Steak on Valentines Day and my wife gave them a 10 out of 10. We will be going back again soon. Cheers guys well done. Peter and Kathy.
