This place is quite the spot for Japanese food. Especially the hot to-order food & donburi . The Chicken Katsu Curry is delicious Another benefit of this place over the other Japanese places nearby, is that it's open till 6pm on most days, giving you a little more time as compared to 4pm closing time of other places to grab their food! Parking: Since this is in the town centre of Pukekohe, it CAN get busy during peak breakfast and lunch times, but you should still be able to find parking in the surrounding alleys/streets.

Worst sushi ever. Don't waste your time. Fried options are so heavy in oil. Also unclean and the staff are rude.
Rip off, misleading, I wont be going back. Sushi rolls dont have fillings all the way through. Selected some sushi from the counter for a takeaway. Jumped in the car and started to eat. I found the fillings in the sushi rolls only went about half way through the roll. Obviously they did not make a roll of tuna sushi and cut it into rounds. They made a roll of rice, cut that into rounds then added a bit of filling on the top. Never seen anything like it anywhere in the world. A total rip off. Taste in the mouth, lots of rice and not much filling ... for obvious reasons. I would have gone back and got a refund except Id driven 15 minutes away before I started eating. The way this was presented in their cabinet it looked like regular sushi, but it isnt. Cheapskates on their fillings.
