The Tastiest Homemade Pizzas in Town

Story

Houdini's Gourmet Pizzas' owner and creator is Howard 'Howie' Matthews.

He is passionate about food. Howie is a qualified butcher and uses this knowledge and skill to create great tasting pizzas.

As he has worked with meats - beef, pork, lamb, chicken - and small goods during his career, this respect and understanding has enabled Howie to develop the smoking techniques used at Houdini's Gourmet Pizza.

These techniques develop a depth of flavour that is unique to the pizzas and ribs at Houdini's Gourmet Pizza.

The pizza sauces - both tomato and pesto - are also made in house.

Howie's passion for food has manifested in an extensive menu - including both traditional and gourmet pizzas, ribs and chicken wings.

Went to this pizzeria in April 2022, and their pizza tasted delicious, the cheese was perfect, the pizza was not greasy. I was surprised how good it tasted after we had asked for it to be made without oregano. I been to some pizzerias in Chicago and Los Angeles, and this pizzeria is tastier.
The new owners are wonderful! Had a Carne Deluxe tonight and even on the small pizza, the toppings were quality and delicious. Wouldn't mind the seasoning recipe for your wings aswell haha Keep up the good work!
Fantastic pizza. Great price, for a fair dinkum great pizza. Base was light but also crispy, plenty of topping without being to much toppings. And quality toppings. Cheesy without being oily. Will be my go to pizza from now on. Realy good .

Fantastic!: Best pizza we Have had for the longest time! So much good quality topping. We even ordered a sweet pizza for the first time ever. We ate it tonight cold. Still tasted great. I wish you would move to Maryborough .....If I come back it will be for the pizza lol ..
This pie is definitely overpriced. I can make better at home, especially for the price. The dough had no flavor and the only substance to the pie was just plain white bread. Don't do what I did and flake off the bad reviews. If you like your taste buds, go elsewhere. Or, maybe go thin crust?? Dominos is cheaper and a LOT tastier. However! The garlic bread though, that loaf was dope. Customer service was so good though!!!
The wings were beyond words. No idea how old they were but totally inedible. Garlic bread was cremated. Seriously the worst food I can remember. I know they are closing down, but have some respect.
Australia has 'Take-away' America has 'Take-Out'. You might like to amend your website.
Pizza like it should be. No tight arse toppings. This is pizza that's messy runs down your hands and falls everywhere. Its what all good pizza should be. And its damn tasty. My advice walk past the chain store offering cheap pizza. Get it real get it now
For mine, this is the best pizza in Cairns. Quality ingredients, generous use of them, fantastic dough and we'll cooked. Only gripe is that it is a tad expensive.
