Quite an old establishment and I’m glad they survived the lockdowns. With no backpackers in Australia right now, the place seemed eerily quiet on a Sunday afternoon. We came for the $15 roast special which was great value - portion size was pretty big definitely suitable for backpackers, with English style roasted vegetables on the side, as well as a mini Yorkshire pudding. Service was excellent too. Definitely recommend
Can cop the drink specials which make for a cheap start to the night. Beer Pints, wine and basic spirits $5 at 5, $6 at 6, $7 at 7 $8 at 8 and a ridiculously good $10 Parma on Saturdays. Fun vibe and very friendly staff and customers - easy place for happy days to be had
$15 Parma! Really good portions, probably too little cheese but is just fair for the price. They also have specials for the drinks so really good place and location for pre drinks.
What were you thinking when you got rid of your kitchen and menu to contract out to Hissy's Kitchen?! Average food with waaay too much sauce & grease & not the value for money like it once was. No more good value daily specials. Disappointing. Thank God the beer is still cheap & cold. Yeah Nah...
Great vibes, super friendly staff. Had a ball at Drag Bingo. Also got the special which was $15 curry and it was amazing
Hotel Barkley is great, since the renovation. This multi-faceted establishment has a couple of pool tables, a strange window, and plenty of charm.
Absolutely disgusting service, disrespectful and un-welcoming to anyone not in the clique, will stay open for Irish patrons but closed to " the public" .as for the woman who runs the place, very cold manager, it doesn't go un- noticed in the st Kilda community. Let's not exclude people more than the world already does.

Used to be regulars, couldn't order food with the QR codes. Tables of 6 left cause bar staff wouldn't put food order through.
