Story

We know your pet is a loved and important member of your family, and that you want them to enjoy a long and happy life. Our veterinarians and nurses provide the highest level of care whilst treating every pet with dignity and compassion.

The hospital has been designed to make your pet's visit as comfortable as possible. Just as we don't always like going to the doctor, we know that pets don't always like going to the vets! Our waiting room is light and spacious with separate dog and cat wards so your pet can recuperate in comfort.

Our vets will discuss treatment options, provide transparent pricing and explain clinical plans, so you can make an informed choice about the treatment your pet receives.

We went here to get our kitten spayed after a bad experience at another vet clinic. These vets and staff are amazing! Showed a lot of care for our kitten and communicated well. We were provided with clear instructions on what to do after her procedure and were booked in a few days later for a follow up appointment. Would definitely recommend.
Can't thank the team enough for the care and support we received after having to put our beloved pet down. Throughout the procedure they did not rush us, the vet team were so caring and sympathetic. We have even received a card in the post showing their support. Genuine care was given, thank you Hornby Vets
Excellent vet. Took our workshop cat straight away, as she was in pain. Sorted the problem and returned her same day. Friendly staff, nothing was a problem. Can thoroughly recommend them.
I've had several cats over the years that have suffered from chronic illnesses, and with that, I've come to know many vets and clinics over that time! Hornby is a wonderful clinic as they can do such a lot on site which saves time and stress for both pet and owner! Emily is an incredible vet, by far the best I've taken my cats to. She has a nearly mystical knack for picking up on symptoms and zooming in on potential issues. My Millie has long been a very very complicated case, but Emily has always taken great care and often gone the extra mile to explore options and support both Millie and I on our journey. And Andrew, there is no vet that is more tender with an animal. He has an enormous heart and one of the first questions he always asks me is "how has she been, is she happy?" which is something that means such a lot and shows both Emily and Andrew have a wonderfully balanced approach to caring for animals.
Would like to reach out with a big thank you to the whole team. I've had a couple of fur babies attend here over the years, but my latest baby jessie, a rescue at 8 years old requires a little more attention due to her attitude. I really cant fault the care given, and to top it off a well needed and beautiful manicure. Thanks team!
We had taken our dog to another vet twice to see what was wrong with his foot and it just keep getting worse. We decided to take him to Hornby vets and they diagnosed his issue on the first visit. The team a highly knowledgable and experienced.
