Pretty okay! I had the vegan salad not because I'm vegan but because it allegedly had crispy tacos. My daughter had the hotdog with cheese and chipotle which apparently was good. Service was negligable. We.got our food but not much in the way of customer service. Mind you I'm 52 and am invisible to any ok me younger than 30.
The food was pretty good but it was a mess to eat. Still worth it however. The meal was a good price and the staff was nice. While the restaurant was small, there is additional seating outside. Would come again.
I'm giving a 5 star because the staff were friendly except the older bouncers. however, my friends and I enjoyed the drinks, good vibes and amazing DJ. I would highly recommend .
Absolutely loved the place, we went with 2 toddlers and are vegetarian.... The staff was so accommodating and even encouraging for kids to be kids...they also had spicy potato along with mushrooms as an option. After a long time we enjoyed drinks in a non RSL type place, not that we don't like RSL...just it was a welcoming and good change. Yummy food, good music and amazing cocktails.
Absolutely disgusted by all their staff. We had made a booking for 36 people and they said if ALL 36 people weren’t there at exactly 7:30 they would give away our tables, even though we had a good 20 people there. Considering it’s always empty, seemed a bit much ‍ The bartenders were rude and super unfriendly. When I got some fries delivered the waiter made me take my own food off of his tray even though there was nothing else on it. We also had food removed from our table before we had finished. Our booking was from 7:30 till “late”. At 9:50pm on a Saturday we were told we had 10 minutes to relocate our entire booking. I ran into some ladies who were there for a hen’s night and they had mentioned they accidentally broke a glass. To which the bartenders removed ALL glassware from their table as if they were incompetent? Overall, completely disgusted and will never be returning
Staff weren’t very friendly and food wasn’t the best.
After rescheduling our booking to 8:30 then calling while on our way to tell them we would be 10 minutes later, we arrived to meet the bearded host who was EXTREMELY rude and told us no table was available and that they had given ours away 15 minutes ago - at 8:25 and he didn't know when a table would be available. When we asked why they didn't tell us "no" when we called just before 8:30, he replied with "I'm telling you no now". So, we asked if he could recommend us somewhere nearby to go, to which we received a swift "no". Rudest experience I've had at a restaurant, and that was prior to even being inside. Frankly we are glad we aren't there eating now. Instead arrived at beach burrito after they closed the kitchen, which they agreed to reopen off we ordered quickly.
Shocking. We called to advise we would be late and they over the phone said ok. Upon arrival they said our table was gone and wouldn't know when a table would come free. When asking if we should hang around for one the bouncer/security guy became very rude. Can't say I've experienced this before but there are plenty of nice places in the area. Go elsewhere.
I went with couple of my friends to have a drink after dinner, on a Tuesday at around 6 pm. After a big feed, i did not feel like i can drink! So one of the 2 friends i was with ordered food The host did not take his order unless he scan the COVID-19 Barcode, which is fair but he could’ve took his order and then asked him to scan on the way to his table When my friend went to order another drink, the bearded host asked him if his friends on that table are going to order anything? Not even a drink? And said that they are hitting capacity, which was totally not true. We rushed out of that place, and will never visit anymore! He should remember that there is plenty of options in the city! And customer service doesn’t to be perfect, but definitely not rude! If that bearded guy is the owner, then good on him! But if he is an employee, the owner of this pub should know that he is loosing business because of the way he is treating the guests. It is a hard time for businesses picking up after COVID-19 and he is not helping.
No stars for me - we normally eat at Beach burrito co around the corner for Mexican food, but decided to try Honkytonks and it was the worst experience of customer service I have ever experienced. We had our good friend in a wheel chair and my husband had just finished a massive week of work.. We ordered a jug of cocktails and a beer which came to $40 when I went in to ask for another beer for my husband I was refused with no explanation? After getting my friend in the wheelchair back in the car I went back to politely ask why we where refused another drink I was told he didn’t have to give me a reason... when I addressed the manager politely why we could not have another beer he told me to get out... disgusting I will be telling everyone I know never to go there...
