Nachos. General taste was good but the tortillas weren't fresh or even warm. The mince beef we tasty but luke warm. They've got a staff member taking orders who has the thickest South Asian accent. Ordering was difficult. The place could be a lot cleaner.
Ordered nachos and fries. The fries are ok with the Chipotle dip but the nachos with pulled pork seemed soggy, the chips went all floppy. The dish had no real flavour. Service was good and fast and the store was cleanFood: 2/5
I recently visited the GYG location in Canberra and was extremely impressed by the fresh, tasty food and fast service. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant. Five stars!
Usually pretty decent with their greatest sin being like forgetting to put in guacamole but today my mum went in to grab me a vege bowl thingy and there was chicken in it. I have been vegetarian for 14yrs. Not wasn’t the greatest way to end that streak. We only realised once we got home so we didn’t go back but I thought I’d just put out a bit of a PSA to say that if there you have any truly important health/personal/religious reasons for not eating meat maybe avoid here or at the very least double check your food. Also I got my sister who eats meat to confirm and I was not being paranoid it was chicken Vegetarian options: It has meat in it. Lol Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian
Have been going to this GYG for ages : Gotta be one of the best go-tos for a quick lunch. Can get pretty busy at meal times, but it’s easy to chuck in an order online with the app - just make sure to ask a staff member at the front when you come to pick it up. They don’t go light on the toppings and pulled pork is always Also don’t get any weird browning vegetable bits or soggy wraps I’ve had at other GYGs, everything is peak fresh. I’ve been here way too much and have never had a bad experience. I drag everyone I know here to convert them to enchiladas. Seriously can’t go wrong with this GYG chain, at least has to be the best in Canberra.
My food tasted microwaved. The cheese was hard on the bottom. Half of it was frozen and the other half was lukewarm. I got the loaded fries. The bins were overflowing, all the tables were dirty and the floor was gross. There were so many staff members standing around in the kitchen just socialisingFood: 1/5
As always, a great burrito and chips with the Mandarine soda. Closest chain store to authentic tex-mex food. Great for a filling meal that you'll digest for some time. Tacos never last long enough :.Food: 5/5
Don’t want to comment anything about the restaurant, but I have to mention the terrible customer service here! It’s like they do you a favor that they take your order. No way to come back again.
Ordered a burrito bowl. Got handed a burrito. Advised it was incorrect and didn't accept the order. Girl behind the counter took her glove off, scraped the burrito into a bowl, dropped half on the floor and bench, threw in a few corn chips and handed it back like nothing was wrong.Food: 1/5
