Stop here for smorgsboard had no lavels on what each thing was. Ended up getting this brown marianted chicken pieces thing and it was basically just bone and tough gristle. Everything else we got was typical smorsboard pretty good but that was so disapointed and horrfied that if a kid tried to eat those they could choke on the bones. No warning theres bones or anything and they're in bite size pieces where you think its like all the othwr scoreboard which has no bones. Enough takeaways around the area that i won't be going back. Best fish n chips in te kuiti must say I was actually surprised
Good value for money, plus good food on top of that. It's also clean and spacious. There's 17 seats for dine in and several more for waiting.
I absolutely love it here , the vibes are always good , the lady and her family are very kind: AND THE FOOOD , freakin amazing Kai there whanau , 10/10 would go there again

We bought a smorgasbord take away meal from here. Nothing was labelled, so we had no idea what we were getting. One of the dishes was full of tiny sharp bones that could have easily choked someone or caused some internal damage. I showed the man behind the counter and all he did was explain how they chopped the chicken haphazardly with a cleaver to make the dish. Didn't even offer an apology or reassurance that it wouldn't happen again.
Great Chinese food, great fish n chips. Friendly folks definitely recommend.
Food was disgusting. No food grade rating shown anywhere. The won tons tasted off and inedible! Do not reccomend at all. Also, with COVID, don't think everything was being sanitized after each person.
Well just got a call from hubby who had their feed last night. He was up from 3am puking and the trots. Suggestion don't get smorgasbord from there. He's now driving his truck with a crook gut. A long haul from te kuiti to Stratford and back up to Rotorua with emergency stops because of food poisoning. And by the way, this bloke has a cast iron gut.
