Stopped by to grab something to snack on during a road trip. The curly fries were crunchy, had a good amount of salt, not too oily as were the chicken nuggets and potato fritters. Perfectly cooked and tasted great. 10/10

Friendly staff of all ages, fish burger was more than just fish lettuce and onion!  Great chip portions, apologetic about increasing prices. They even individually portioned chips for our school group of 10. Get in there.Food: 5/5

The fish and chips here are on point for sure! But what makes this place unique, is that the owner will go out of his way to make things right. Ok, shut happens and we got given the wrong order some chips instead of fish we could have easily drove back down to settle this but the owner instead dropped the fish off personally and it was insanely nice! I rate this place as one of the best take away stores for not only quality, but customer respect and service a hard 10/10. Thanks

It's all in the name, it is quite simply, the best fish and chips in Te Awamutu. Super clean shop, friendly staff, nice light crispy batter, Fresh tasty fish and great chips. If you live in T.A or passing through this is the place to go.  Parking: Supermarket carpark right by the shop so plenty of easy parking without having to find a park on the street.

Great option for GF fish n chips. We drive here from Hamilton just so our son doesn’t miss out. Amazing food every time.Recommended dishesSnapper

Nice food, but super expensive. $60 for 4 fresh fish, 2 scoops of chips and 12 squid rings. Just too much for fish and chips, won't be going back unfortunately.

Our favourite fish n chip shop in Te Awamutu we have been going here for years. The kaimoana is always fresh and the batter is nice and crispy just how it's supposed to be.
