Homestead Tavern

Garlic Cobb was fresh. But that's it. Ordered 2 rumps with chips and salad, both really tough, one wrong sauce and they should not use that word, more like paste and tasteless. And you get salad dressing in a packet. Clearly don't employ chefs, just average cooks. I know it's a tavern in Zillmere, but I have eaten way better in places like Roma for less money.

I recently wrote a review on the homesteads Facebook page and instead of replying they completely disabled the ability for anyone to review them on Facebook. The food really was terrible if your read this I hope it’s not to late for you just go somewhere else honestly maccas will be better.

It could be a great little suburban pub but it lacks any personality. The Chef is arrogant and very impolite. It shows in his terrible food. A panini is an oval shaped bread, not the classic prebuttered garlic bread you get with baking paper stuck to it! Why also wouldn’t you just call this cheesy bacon garlic bread. I would have been impressed if this what was on the menu versus what was on the plate. Ps an èntree is due to arrive at the table first not last. It was a disgrace cold chips, burnt snitzels, old salad & no salad dressing! (We eventually found some at the kitchen pass). The signature dish whoa...👎 The Bar staff seemed happy but need to brush up on there general knowledge of the menu. I would not recommend the Homestead Tavern!

Very lovely meal. Staff were friendly. A quiet Friday night for a bar. We didn't wait too long for our meals and when they arrived they were to our specifications. The dining area appeared clean and presentable. The club had Live entertainment playing in the Sports bar.

Good atmosphere for lunch. Had the lunch steak. Meat was a bit tough to cut through. Was an ok tasting steak, just hard to cut.
