Very authentic compared to most Asian restaurants in the area, and around the country really. The small size can feel pleasantly cozy and real, however, on a busy day, which is common, it can feel cramped and uncomfortable. The outside appearance does seem dull and boring, however, inside there is some nicely mimicked traditional architecture and decoration. The food is genuinely delicious and service is mostly friendly and helpful, especially with larger groups of friends or family. Pricing is also respectable in comparison to a lot of other locations nearby. I would definitely recommend this place for a dinner or lunch meeting as a family or a small business, as long as it's not too busy before you go in.

A most pleasant surprise find in a 'back' lane in Springvale. The vermicelli lemon grass beef was really yum. A very busy place with seating upstairs as well. Price is $$. Fast service. A place to return to time and again with friends and family. Parking in the area can be a challenge. If you don't mind a walk, there are 2 hour parking in nearby residential streets less than 10 minutes walk from the main shopping area. We were not planning on shopping so the walk did us good.

Busy little place. Food is always served quickly and efficiently. Vietnamese classics are particularly well done but honestly anything off the enormous menu will serve you well. Check out the lemongrass chili chicken, super tasty.

Has a nicely mimicked traditional architecture and decoration. Fast service. The food, really yum! Especially the vermicelli lemon grass beef. As long as it's not too busy, I would definitely recommend this place to have lunch or dinner.

No frills shouldn't mean terrible service. I think the owner or the chef must have changed because the food is now barely even average. It's crowded, dirty and waitstaff are rude. Our food took ages to arrive and one of the dishes was wrong. When we pointed it out to the waiter he just said "we're too busy" and left. Definitely not recommended
