I have been going to Hill Top for years. They have the best chips. Their burgers are fantastically tasty, I would recommend the classic hamburger and their fish is so filling. It is affordable, tasty and a kiwi classic.Food: 5/5

Daaaam it's yum way different batter recipe than rest of the coast, crispy as chips, tops as. Some choice as Chinese also, definitely going back to eat again. Parking: Copious parking for takeaways
Combination Chow Mein = hardly any meat, smallest amount of noodles hidden at the bottom and cut 1 inch lengths. No juice and the vegies were large and only just warm. Sweet & Sour Pork = Nice and tasty but sauce comes in different pot than the pork, which was disappointing. Came here after reading reviews but do not think we will go again.
Chinese here is good 100% Recommend!, The Chips taste alright for 3 dollars. However in saying that the quality of product needs to improve a bit. The reason I am leaving 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 stars Is because I bought 1 fish 1 chips the fish tasted frozen for the price you pay for snapper you would expect quality compared to purchasing the hoki fish. Unfortunately I had received cheaper quality snapper with chewy texture, tastes like they mixed the snapper with batter to make the fish look bigger portion wise I am not happy about that. Will keep buying the Chinese takeaways but not the European in future. If the owner replies to this comment please let me know if you have made any changes regarding this, or will make changes in future.
Alright, ordered a super burger comes with pineapple bacon pattie egg lettuce tomato steak.
Ordered spring roll and chow mein. Sadly not very nice.
Great value for money from friendly staff, 2 snapper + $3 chips for $15! Similar value for Chinese. MacAlba.
I don't have photos but I love this take aways. The burgers are yummy, the chips are on whole another level. It's always been busy when we have gone there but to me that means it's popular and they are enjoyed by a wide range of people on the coast. Located on the Hibiscus Coast Highway on the way to Orewa it's really handy. I recommend this take away
