Order Japanese chicken curry for takeaway which was beautiful there down fall was, it was cold and no one told me it was ready! Longest way ever! But good food

Our go to place for Japanese food in Newtown. Must've gone there 10+ times this year to eat in. Opens at 5 and fills up pretty quickly. Lots to choose from on the menu with beverages including beer, wine and sake. Usually order 5-6 things from the menu , a beer ,wine and a lrg sake. Usually comes to $70-$80 for the both of us.

Pretty basic Japanese food. The kaki fry was really good, would recommend this dish. the service was quite slow though :

One of my favourite Japanese restaurant in Newtown. Dream boat that brings the party to my mouth. Cheap wine menu plus is BYO aswell. Great value and definitely worth a try.

Very average. We tend to try local Japanese cuisines at greater Sydney restaurants. Sadly this one isn't up there as a place to return. Rice a tad hard, prawn sushi was rubbery. Teriyaki beef had great flavours but let down due to meat quality. Probably good for locals,  sadly wouldn't go out of my way to return.

Great food, good service.  Reasonable price as well.  Highly recommend.

Bloody awesome - always our Go-To on King St, amazing food, amazing value.  Customer service now and then a bit patchy but they run a busy show so forgiven.  90% of my meals on King Street with friends are with this awesome crowd.  Basic Japanese done VERY well indeed if it helps, my level of snottiness is Melbourne... shhhh
