Do not build with Highlife homes. 4 months after hand over and still living in a construction zone. The builder treats you like rubbish when they cant provide decent quality workmanship or a home to contract. James George says he tells trades to "build a home like you are building it for your mother", well he must really hate his mother. This build is enough to break anyone. Hope him and Elyse can sleep at night. Every single wall needing repair. Photos do not show the extent. Unfinished cornices, leaking roof, no insulation where it should be, plumbing, electrical and cabinetry. Have delayed this review hoping they will make things right, but 4 months later cant take anymore. A dream home turned into a nightmare.

James and the team at Highlife Homes provided an excellent service. We engaged James to build our duplex because of his effective communication. Throughout the design, DA and construction phase we were regularly updated. Questions were answered promptly and any issues raised were addressed in a collaborative manner. The finished product was delivered on time to the quality we had agreed upon. They met our expectations in all ways and continue to provide great follow up service. We highly recommend Highlife Homes if you're considering building on the Gold Coast.

I can't praise the team at Highlife Homes enough. From the service, to the design, to the build, everything was done above and beyond expectations. The builders in particular were the friendliest and hardest-working I've met - my site presented unique challenges, a really steep block, but it was all done incredibly fast and still maintained a high level of attention to detail. Highlife Homes really stands out among the abundance of builders available on the Gold Coast, and I strongly recommend them to anyone looking to build.

I was referred to Highlife Homes by a family member. Being an offshore property investor, it is important to have confidence in the builder you select. Plan conceptualization by Michael was creative, his suggestions enlightening and attention to detail superb. The finishing schedule was well interpreted by Elyse who did a remarkable job in bringing the theme together. James, contact person for the project, communicated regularly, if there were hitches i did not hear of them. Our experience with James and his team was wonderful! As our first venture into owning and building a house, from the start of designing our home to the finish and move in, the process was simple, easy, flexible and stress free! Everything was taken care of for us and we love our new home. The quality and finish is great and we will be enjoying our home for years to come. We would definitely go with Highlife Homes again and recommend them to others looking to build their new home.
