I wish I could give a -1 star review. Aizer were contracted by RACQ to provide a quote for our insurance claim. Aizer were incredibly difficult to communicate with, and would schedule a visit to our property onto to not show up to the appointment, and provide zero communication as to why. We were left taking multiple days off work to facilitate them, only to have them no show. We were the ones who had to chase them for an explanation. Absolutely disgusted.
Provided on behalf of our insurer Suncorp poor and incorrect advice that they could not support nor by their own admission were qualified to give. In the end we then needed to hire our own QBCC qualified contractors to advise the insurer at our cost of the shortcomings of Aizer's poor advice.
We had made a claim through insurance company RACQ as we had a pipe burst in our ceiling causing somewhat damage throughout. RACQ themselves were very helpful throughout this process, as they had told us that the Aizer Group will be taking over from here once our excess had been paid.. Well all we can say is that it had all gone down hill from the beginning when they actually turned up here on our property! Our blinds were damaged throughout the demolition and afterwards the cleaners that they had organised couldn't even clean up correctly another long story, along with they had removed particular markings that were left by the electrician to replace our lights back in ceiling Two have been put back incorrectly which now has left dark areas. They also cut corners when repainting our ceiling Scope of works & cost saving without consulting US 'the Customer' or our insurance company RACQ as it wasn't up to standard what so ever as they've been back recently to do it once again! You wouldn't read about it, but cracks have now appeared days after the second painting & they need to come back once again... So, if you have claim through RACQ Insurance, ask them not to deal through this mob 'The Aizer Group' as they have put us through enough with all the finger pointing, passing the buck & of course all the innuendo that has come with this at very sensitive time for us & our family! Again RACQ have been communicating throughout all of this as they too have been very let down & disappointed as we are they're valued customers. A formal complaint has been written to the RACQ regarding this matter as it should not have happen like this nor should it EVER happen again over something so simple instead of cost cutting & corners, absolutely disgraceful from a group like this! So avoid at all costs as they have been very costly, very stressful, loss of work due to timing etc etc...This was a very simple job to fix as were glad that we hadn't lost a roof or a tree fallen through as I could not imagine what they would have done to us..
Had the unfortunate displeasure of having Aizer manage our insurance claim from the Halloween Hail Storm of 2020. They didn't communicate with us at all. It was the builder who kept us up to date the whole time contracted builder from another company. Every now and then we would get an email from the claims adjuster with incorrect claims from Aizer such as stating that works were complete or items had been delivered when they hadn't. You hear stories of dodgy companies when it comes to insurance claims but Aizer takes cake. They claimed that the storm didn't damage my shed when there is a hole in it that I could almost fit my head through. I hope I never need to make another claim again but if I do I will definately request another company if I am told Aizer is going to be involved. I am sure the process would have taken far less time to complete if Aizer were not involved currently at over 7 months and still going. Thier involvement was a complete waste because they got paid to contract another building company to do the work. The absolute least they could have done was be a single point of contact for communication purposes rather than palming that responsibility off to the builder.
RACQ home assistance seem to use this organisation. No dramas with RACQ or the tradesman sent to fix things up for us. There was quote to be supplied that had to be followed up several times. Their call centre is difficult to understand and manner in which they conduct themselves is less than good. They get 2 stars because tradesman that called was great - follow up with call centre deserved a negative star review..
They rip off there workers by not paying ther overtime correctly. So there workers are don't do a good job because, why should they. I will never use this company again.
