Andrew did a Cirkus upgrade on my LP12 many years ago, which I was quite happy with, but it was still a 30+yo turntable. Late last year I decided on a more substantial upgrade consisting of a new plinth/lid, sub-chassis, cartridge, arm lead and Tramp2 base. I was very happy for Andrew to do that work for me and the outcome has been great. We spent a bit of to and fro getting various things done and Andrew was always good at communicating the status of work. A further shout out as well when I wasn’t happy with the first arm lead as it didn’t suit my system with the LP12 back home. Andrew was happy to take that back and go for an alternative which was perfectly successful. Great service, highly recommended.

Very good customer service. The service time was fast and the work carried out at a very reasonable price. Andrew also has the ability to explain his work in a way that can be understood by someone not as technical. One company whose contact details you want to keep.

Excellent service, not only for the ultra quick response to my email question & they had the parts required & was shipped out super fast. Don't normally write reviews but with this service I had to leave 5 stars & full recommendation. Brilliant!

Recently I decided to press my 1970s Rega 2 back into service and approached Andrew on the recommendation of my brother. Andrew did everything the turntable needed and nothing it didn't just, good old fashioned honest service. The result, well it's the duck's nuts, sounds amazing, I'd really forgotten how good vinyl sounds. I can wholeheartedly recommend Hi Fi Restorations.
