I open a bank account with this bank years ago! Closed it today. Because of the knock back for car loan, I wasn’t even ask about my living expenses like a normal process when you apply for a loan. So how could they calculate $4000 “monthly” that apparently I’m spending, doesn’t make sense at all. But we’re happy to give me a loan with my partners name added to it from just asking his annual pay. Poor or rich kinda game, I feel and absolutely horrified by this.
What a joke this place is. Rang them regarding a suspicious phone call I received from supposedly Heritage number. As I did not own a computer, and could not perform some tasks on my mobile phone I was advised to come into the branch so as they could check it further. The next day 2/12/22 I drive an hour to the branch, explain why I'm there. Get called into an office after a while and explain it all again, so I'm asked to log in on a tablet, but it won't log me in. So then I'm told, "oh well" looks like you'll have to go to the Library and do it on their computer. I ask, can we do it on your computer here and now, only to be told that it can't be done on their computer. WHY ??? Obviously, sipping on a Latte' is more important than customer service, that's why.
A couple of months ago I was applying for a credit card for the sum of $5.000 for any emergency & was told I had to add my wife to the application to be approved I was made to feel an inch tall by the staff so I didn't go through with it & ended up going to the comm bank & Applied & was approved for $35.000. So thanks for nothing Heritage bank.
