Called the practice to make an appointment because I was facing flu like symptoms. They said that I cannot see the doctor because I have flu symptoms and that I have to do a telephone call with the doctor, however I also could not do a telephone call with the doctor because I have not seen a doctor yet?? I was forced to get a covid test came back negative as well as I am fully vaccinated and had no real symptoms of covid after that was completed, the staff made me wait outside of the doctors office in 34C weather which makes you feel even worse when you have a fever. The doctor finally called me in and after 20 second, I was walking out with a nose spray and the doctor said I have a URI Spoiler, I didn't. The next morning I wake up with an extremely painful throat and notice my tonsils are swollen and white spots on them, I instantly call to book another appointment. I get there and see a woman doctor and introduce myself and tell her I think I have tonsillitis and from past experiences with it ask to go on a specific brand of anti-biotics. The doctor then proceeds to YELL at me for what seemed like 10 minutes yelling at me saying that she knows more than me, that she is the educated one, that, and I quote "you are not the educated one, I am" and that I should not tell her how to do her job. She then continues to proscribe me THE WRONG ANTI-BIOTICS. After I go to a different GP where they must more care for their patients and do not try to rush through them ASAP. This was completely unacceptable behaviour and the fact that the first doctor took 20 second to diagnosed me and it was wrong shows these GP's aren't interested in anything besides getting paid and leaving.
Unfortunately after coming to this practice for 3 years it's time to move and edit our 5 star review. My wife had a phone consultation on Monday with a new doctor as our regular has moved and found the Dr rather short and rude. This doctor suggested a blood test and said she would email the referral, well that never happened either. Thankfully we did an internet search and found where our regular doctor has moved to. We will drive a bit further up the road to know our family's in good hands. It's a shame as reception staff and nurses have always been polite and helpful.
Sadly my experience with the female Dr Anna I found very rude & abrupt & wouldn’t listen to my symptoms.. she didn’t put a reason on my X-ray so when the receptionist called the surgery dr Anna was even rude to her enough to make another comment to me about her. Misleading information & terrible bedside manner very disappointed with that surgery now .. I feel it could be dangerous & wrong advice given ! Thank goodness I found my amazing Dr Ayad again .. I feel for the nurses & receptionists left there they have always been so welcoming & polite so thank you ladies ..
Doctor Anna is the worst doctor I’ve ever been to , I should of known not to go back a second time after she was so extremely rude the first time but I needed an emergency female only doctor , without even looking at the affected area she just assumed oh you probably have thrush ok bye and shoved me out the door in 1 second flat , how can you assume a persons diagnosis without even asking to see the affected area? Not to much the up herself filthy attitude. I walked out so upset and angry I went and found another doctor that sent me straight to a specialist and have been diagnosed with an auto immune disorder ! I would not let my dog go to her that’s how horrible she is .
Really I wouldn't waste my time going to this clinic anymore!!! One bad doctor after another. Very ignorant and careless. Not what doctor should be like. Went to see Dr. Shakeel after having abdominal pain for while, and he told me it is something without even confirming it with tests! He told me to take Lyrica if I can't deal with the pain. And I felt like I wasn't welcome into his room. I had to go to the ER the same day....
I had an appointment at 2:30pm 14/1/21 with the Dr Anna. I got there at 2:00 pm and checked in. I waited 35 minutes after my scheduled appointment and saw 3 other people go in They got there after me and after 2:30 before I chose to get up and tell the receptionist to get the doctor to call me I have to go. Her response was "Hasnt the Nurse seen you yet". I did get a call from Dr Anna with hardly a sorry. She asked If I want to make an appiontment the following week to comfirm some things. I think Ill leave it there and to say I will not be back to that Medical practice. The Bulk clinic in oxenford has better service.
Absolutely Terrible This place has been through that many receptionists and doctors in the last 3 years you would not believe. Most of the time the receptionists are short and rude and the doctors are worse, they do not spare the time of day to actually listen or offer solutions other than to push you out the door. My most recent and last experience was with Dr Anna have seen many of the doctors there over the years due to convenience as I work in Westfield the receptionist who took my call was rude and the Dr was just awful, on top of that I dont even think she was reading off my file... she asked if I still smoked 5 cigarettes a day... I have never been a smoker!! Don't waste your time, what a circus.
My husband who has had a stroke and has multiple problems needed to get in and see someone quickly last weekend about his wound. The receptionist told me to bring him straight down. We arrived and checked in and the nurse took us straight into the treatment room to undress the wound then Doctor Paul came in not long after who was a delightful young man. They even let us borrow the wheelchair to get my husband back to the car. Thanks to everyone on that day for your efficient service. I haven't been at this clinic in many years seems to have improved a lot and ill definitely be coming back now.
Love this practice! DR Ayad always takes the time to listen to her patients. Our whole family goes there now including my in laws. Also, the reception ladies are wonderful and so helpful. Very grateful I found this practice.
0nly giving one star because I can't give none. Doctor Anna has to be the WORST doctor I have ever been to. Went in for a injury sustained on my back at work due to the occupation I do and she didn't even listen to me, automatically just assumed it had something to do with my health and weight and belittled me for it. Didn't listen to me, talked over me, was very abrupt. Cared more about getting me out of there rather than trying to help me when I was in pain. Only went here because my usual doctors are booked out. Would rather be in pain then return here.
