Been working out here for at least 6 years. It speaks for itself. Anneka, Mat and Greg are very nice and friendly. The place is huge and the equipments are well kept and maintained. Some of the TV's on the treadmills are not working. But most of the people bring their own entertainment nowadays. So it doesn't bother me.
This facility is not very clean from the start. Also, lots of people who come to this gym leave their weight on the machine after use and I hurt myself trying to move it in the past. Also, the female sauna manner is just horrible!! It’s two person’s sauna but some lady just wants to keep it by themselves. If there are another gym have sauna, I will definitely go to that one.
Make no mistake this is a large scale impersonal conveyor belt gym. There's some good classes, but they're packed. I suspended my membership and they resumed payments with no notification. Whilst that's in the small print it's pretty sneaky. I won't be back, there's plenty of friendlier gym options out there.
Healthworks at Victoria Point is situated at the Lakeside Shopping centre. This place is quite large inside. There are two areas where you can go and take a break from your life and just do something for yourself and your health. There is a women's only area, child minding downstairs and them there is the main area where the gym explodes with rows of bikes, rowing machines, walking machines and a whole lot of equipment. The staff are warm and welcoming and the people who go there are very encouraging. I remember going there for the first time and felt like a fish out of water. It only took a smile from one of the staff members and encouraging words from my trainer that I felt at home and relaxed. Now this place is like a home away from home to me. Check it out and come home to Victoria Point Healthworks.
I have been a member at the gym for nearly 10 years. Having a 24 hour access tag, I can utilise the facility at any time. The staff are friendly and helpful as are most of the members. Membership fees are more than reasonable.
Been going here years, staff are great but now the equipment is in need of updating. If the equipment was updated it would be 5 stars.
Matt and his team are always friendly and helpful. Nothing is to hard for them. Love my gym.
Well equipped gym, plenty of space to move and great Les Mills sessions available.
Been here a few times impressed with the size of the gym and what it has to offer.
Staff unenthusiastic. Great facilities. Just the staff without enthusiasm letting the place down
