Wonderful doctor who actually remembers your previous health problems, yes you do have to wait a little most times but that's mainly because he is a caring doctor and asks questions and takes his time to help you, have patience rest and relax while waiting
I was referred to the lovely Dr Mal by a friend and I am ever so grateful. After years of going to large practices in the area where you can feel you are just number, it was so refreshing to finally go to a practice where you feel they all genuinely care. All the staff are great and know you by name and you are literally treated like one of the family. Dr. Mal's beautiful wife and charming son both work there at times I love family businesses. Karen is my favourite receptionist, always smiling, jovial, helpful and professional. Jo, the registered nurse is a real character, kind and excellent at what she does. Dr. Mal is a very good and thorough Doctor who will get to the bottom of any problem. Doctor Mal has an extremely happy disposition which makes you feel calm even when you are worried about something. A very big thank you to all of you for kindness and care, much appreciated.
Rude staff on the counter. 1 hour waiting passed my appointment 1 week minimum waits for an appointment time. 1 singular doctor. Your patients don't have patients for this atrocious display of general practice 1. Initial appointment i made was canceled, then when i was informed it was canceled you had to squeeze me into a time slot because of your mistakes. 2. On multiple occasions ive visited the general practice i have been told to go do my shopping or find other things to do while i wait? 3. I am complaining about the front of desk staff and not your doctor 4. There is more than one occasion i've had a longer wait than an hour, if you're going to nit pick one appointment fine, but I've been a patient for a long time and I've been patient. 5. Banning me from the practice for posting a complaint, is a real professional look, shows a real duty of care, and shows your true colors as a clinic. if a customer of mine had a complaint about a place i worked, and they were a customer as long as I've been a patient at you're clinic maybe i'd ask the patient why that might be, instead of sending a passive aggressive letter through the mail telling me you're not able to see me again, all because of a review i left. I have always had great respect for Dr Mal, However I've always disliked the way the service staff have run the place. I guess posting a negative review was not to your liking and it shows terribly. seems looking at the reviews im also not the only one that's been told to go for a shop or come back later. shocking. its been quite awhile since i wrote this review, still stands this place isnt good the doctor is as shifty as they come. I can however recommend the victoria point medical centre across the road as wonderful, and DR brodie as very proffesional always friendly staff on the counter that are informative and helpful as opposed to moody/angry/rude all those descriptions fit.
Refused service by Dr Mal because I haven't been there in the last couple of years and became "inactive"
This medical centre always seems to have too few doctors on duty. I suppose this saves the company a few dollars but it also wastes a lot of their patients' time. This evening I went there and was told the wait would be one and a half to two hours, and maybe I could come back later. I don't want to spend up to two hours in their waiting room, exposed to all the diseases other patients have and when I have other things to do with my time , so I went home. I will try to find another medical centre that has a better doctor to patient ratio, that is, they care about their clients more, and I recommend you do the same. As a postscript to my review above, I maintain a nom-de-plume. I actually am a patient of this medical centre and not mistakenly of another Centre.
If you want good medical help, please make sure to call victoria point medical centre. or literally any other general practice. Oh i know i have the right venue, im just using an alternative name seems you ban people that have any critism against your terrible GP where do your service staff get off telling me to go for a shop while i wait for my appointments. If i can call and saying im running late you sure as hell better call and say you are too. Time is money friend. Hire more doctors. This clinic has gone to the dogs woof woof

Been seeing Dr Mal for years. If it wasn't for him i would still be waiting for specialist appointments. Would highly recommend him.
Thanks to the wonderful Dr. Mal Fernando, and the great staff at Bunker Road Medical, I will live a longer, and happy life. Peter
