Such beautiful old world charm that staying at this hotel evokes. From the decor.. comfy bed with small sink included and shared bathroom close by.. it was wonderful. The additional items popped into the bathroom such as body and hair products.. heavenly and of quality. Downstairs the restaurant.. bars and outdoor areas were all well equipped with lots of areas for patrons to use. Parking was close and the location was great. Staff were helpful and kind l. I will definitely and absolutely be back to this little bit of historical time travel. Thank you for everything. Jacqui
Beautiful character filled hotel in the best location. Friendly and professional staff afforded us a warm welcome. Great menu lovely food. Could not fault the food or service at this heritage Hotel. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We are already planning our next stay.
Great for an overnight stay. Rooms are fairly basic but clean and nice. Tea and coffee provided was great..didn’t get into the mini bar but there were a few nice bottles of local wine. The supply of earplugs was perfect..although it wasn’t loud just strange noises of a business. Had dinner downstairs..with wine …perfect. The shared bathroom was lovely. Will definitely stay again and would recommend.
We dined here for dinner and lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed the Black Angus rump, fried Nola pork, prawn cigars and Giant Steps Chardonnay. I recommend to book a table ahead of time if you have young kids, as we needed to sit outdoors on a cool night. Thankfully the hotel has a lovely fire pit outside.
Lovely room and great pub.nA few things to improve - difficult to check-in and felt like an inconvenience. Sink in room didn't have running water and bathrooms were untidy.nnI would stay again because the location was great and the room was good value :
