We stayed 1 night and the rooms are huge. Very clean, the shared bathrooms are immaculate. The food was good in the bistro, convenient parking and location. The only gripe would be the light in the morning through the windows and the noise of the traffic as it is on the main road. That being said they supply earplugs.nnI would stay again.
Bit of a mixed bag review. Rooms come with complimentary earplugs for a reason. No sleep here until the pub shuts down, and you will be awake as soon as the first guest is up. Rooms are clean, building is very nice overall. We ate outside in the beer garden, Calamari was great, Chips were ok, but the Pizza was really bad ate a slice each and left the rest. Beer garden is very nice with a firepit etc.
Food is good. Good veggies options in this pub. Plenty of alcohol variety. Lots of seating indoor and outdoor. Staff are very friendly. Street parking available nearby. Charred broccoli is very good. Cooked to perfection. Topped with nuts to add texture. Seating consider comfortable. Huge TV inside the bar. Outdoor seating have heater.
We booked a king room and it was super spacious, well equipped with a comfortable bed and nice extra's such as special Dindi soap, toiletries, soft towels, coffee, tea, still water.nBathroom facilities are down the hall and shared. They were clean with great water pressure. Ample parking.nBecause the hotel is on the main road it can be a bit more noisy during the day and early evening, but earplugs are provided and we did not need these.
Party of 10. Sat inside in cozy almost private room. Great for winter. Service was good. Food was average. Nothing anyone raved about, and a comment of Roast of the day overcooked and pasta dish was all chilli and no other taste. For serving sizings it's not cheap for pub food. Great beer and wine selection. Good location on the main street. Had to park a bit away for an 86 year old in the group. Nice enough, but I would not go back.
