This is a great crew at this store, especially in Electrical. New to the area, we've recently bought a bit from this store. Friendly, helpful & willing to take the time to explain products to you in detail. Always have a good laugh while in the store as they all have a good sense of humour. Love that there is no wait for purchases with almost anything you see on the floor available from the warehouse to pick up just a short drive up the road on the same day or a day that is convenient to you. Definitely recommend this HN Store and will be continuing to shop here.
We went into Hervey Norman Bundaberg to get a new dryer. Chris P from the electrical department was very helpful. He went above and beyond for our order and to ensure that we got our products at the best price. Thank you very much! Friendly and honest service!
On Saturday, I purchased a few items from the Bundaberg branch, and they were supposed to be delivered today. When I returned from the washroom, I saw a message that had been sent 3 minutes ago. I called back, and they informed me that the items are no longer available for delivery today and that it has been rescheduled for Wednesday. They also mentioned an additional $50 charge. I do not find this fair. I will not book a delivery with Harvey Norman again. It is unreasonable to expect customers to keep their phones in hand all day, waiting for a delivery.
Our experience at this store in the bedding department was an absolute disappointment.nAfter spending a considerable amount on premium sleepmaker mattress ,after about a month noticed something was not right.nThe mattress showed early signs of defects such as sagging and lumpy areas.nAs we live over 1 hr away from Bundaberg we attended the store shortly thereafter and retried the floor stock mattress and confirmed there was definitely faults in our mattress which was supposed to be firm.nAfter taking necessary steps to have it sent back ie taking pictures and sending emails back and forth , waiting for courier to pick up.nWe were informed the mattress was to be sent to Brisbane to be inspected and repaired or replaced by the manufacturer Sleepmaker.nTo our amazement and disgust it was deemed to be ok and no faults found. This is total bs as some of the staff and the courier let it slip other mattresses have been sent back to be assessed in the last few weeks.nWhy are people sending their mattresses back if there is nothing wrong with them !!nAfter talking with bedding staff sue and manager kellie ar Harvey Norman she begrudgingly gave me a refund- plus a restocking fee I had to fork out to get rid of this overpriced rubbish stating she was losing out !!! Ha bloody ha what a joke.nnNow my wife is currently waiting for hip replacement surgery and we needed comfort for her before and after the surgery.nThis experience has been anything but comfortable just devastating and painful as she hasn't slept well in months and most nights sleeps on the lounge .nThe attitude by the bedding department and sleepmaker were really quite disgusting and deceitful as the mattress they loaned us was not even fit for dog to sleep on and it was supposed to be firm also. My wife could not lie on it for more than a few minutes then spent the next 2 weeks on the lounge again .nWe will never deal with Harvey Norman or sleepmaker ever again in the future..nWe have since found another mattress at a different company. Fingers crossed but 1st impressions look good.nBeware buying sleepmaker - made in Australia doesn't necessarily mean made well anymore .Standards have lowered in this country.
