We enjoyed a very nice lunch, complemented by the great waterfront views. Wait staff were prompt and friendly, the menu was carried and interesting with vegetarian options, and the kitchen staff were on point. Not cheap but not overly expensive either. Recommended.
Nice little spot on the strand. I felt as if I did drive down the wrong street at first but have no fear, it's tucked away.nnThe wait staff was lovely, very helpful and the food came out in a timely manner. It's a beautiful little spot overlooking the harbor, not too noisy and the patio is shaded. You get that ocean breeze with a hint of salt water while enjoying your dinner and it's lovely.nnThe food is delicious and cooked to perfection. Probably the best flavours I've had in my entire time visiting New Zealand. We took half the chicken dish home and re-heated it 2 days later and it was still amazing to eat.nnCan't say much about the price as I'm unfamiliar with what the standard is locally however it's on Par with every other restaurant we've eaten at but the quality of the food is superior so in my opinion it's definitely worth the money.nnGood portion sizes as well. Excellent beverage list and Desert.
Went to Harbourside for my Birthday Lunch. Managed to get an outside patio table with waterfront views, but would recommend booking these tables well in advance. The view was so beautiful. Excellent service. My Espresso Martini was delicious. Fish was tarakihi & it was so fresh with a crispy batter & chips. They spoiled me with free brownies & ice cream with a candle lit for my Birthday. It was lovely. Would highly recommend for the views, ambience, food & friendly service.
We visited Harbourside for a late night dinner. Needless to say, there wasn't much of a view but I can imagine that it would be gorgeous during the day. Most of the dishes were great, like the beef filet and laksa mussels. The oysters felt like they were a bit old or not the best, and the corn tasted good but felt overpriced. Everything took super long to come out of the kitchen and they weren't that busy either. Our entire meal took us two hours, which is not normal. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and wouldn't mind coming back.
Lunch today. Service with a smile. Brilliant food, reasonable prices in today's market. Nice glass of wine. Thanks
