Story

Located between the Brisbane CBD and Brisbane Airport, this iconic, 1865-built hotel offers delectable food, a refreshing variety of beverages and outstanding service in a trendy atmosphere. The venue includes four tasteful bars over two levels, a restaurant, bistro, children's indoor entertainment area, gaming facilities, TAB, music events, sports viewing on the big screens and two elegant function rooms.

A very busy pub and great atmosphere. All the staff were very friendly and very helpful. Food was delicious. Little dear for a steak so we went for burgers. Good selection of tap beers Price is reasonable for a pub in its location.
Enjoyed a steak, veggie and chips with a glass of red. Arrived at 5pm. Easy to order. Meal with partner plus drinks was reasonably priced. Clean environment. If you coming out of area you may wish to look at alternative place to park rather than in carpark as so busy with cars constantly coming and going cause of neighbouring bottle shop. Had a work function at the Steakhouse. The service was impeccable. Fast and efficient. Prices for the meals were reasonable. Drink service available from the table. Only minor thing is it gets extremely loud with a full room. You will struggle to hear the person next to you.
The dining area was quite noisy considering there were not a great deal of people there. Could be the acoustics in the room. We had to talk quite loudly to have a conversation. The food was delicious but a thinner piece of steak on the steak sandwich would have made it a lot less messy to eat. We took our food outside because of the noise and it was very pleasant. We would eat here again.
Everyone was so friendly, helpful & accommodating! We can thank you all especially Kurtis & Luke! The meals were great, tasty & affordable! Can't wait to come back again! Patti & Christine
Great food. The lemon pepper calamari was the best I’ve had anywhere. Good service and location. Why not 5 stars? Incredibly noisy making it very difficult to chat with friends.
Lovely pub! Great food, plenty of options. Charlie made our first night in Brisbane comforting for us country folk with his wonderful customer service at the bar. Highly recommend
Had a fantastic experience last night at the hamilton hotel. It was race night and very busy. Grace has done a fantastic job of communicating with us, so she can reset our tables. While she served meals and delegated to other staff to clean tidy and table check. We ordered Rib filets medium rare. My steak came out well done which on a busy night like this can happen Grace came to our table and without any hesitation she asked me how I want my new steak cooked and if I would like a beer. Fantastic costumer service! The replacement steak was amazing and I will definitely return and recommend the Hamilton hotel moving forward.
Went for drinks after work and staff were friendly including security who helped me find my way back to the carpark! Digitally ordered from the table and service was quick, even though it was quite busy! Margarita was delicious!!
Staff on today were exceptional. Was served by a young gentleman at the kitchen who was extremly polite and a lovely lady at the bar where we ordered a coffee and wine. Please pass on to these staff that they were the best service we experienced at a venue all year. The cauliflower and calimari we ordered were fantastic also. This was a great venue for us as most others were closed for Monday in the area and this was a perfect spot post pottery class to enjoy an excellent bite to eat.
