Story

The Kent Hotel has been playing host to Hamilton since 1924. That’s 90 years of pouring beers, serving classic pub fare, and dancing the night away. So it goes without saying, we love what we do.

To celebrate, we’ve recently had a bit of a makeover. You’ll find a few more specials on the menu, the lighting is a bit moodier and the staff are wearing a fancy new uniform. So whether you're looking for a comforting meal, a night out with your mates or to watch the latest sporting event on the big screen, you'll always feel welcome at The Kent.

Balcony beers in the sun; cannot recommend more! Great vegan menu like absolutely amazing and lovely daytime atmosphere.

Great vegan menu.  Delicious meals.  Love that you highlight which wines are vegan too!. We will be back soon.

Great range of beers.  Friendly staff including security. Extended trading hours are handy too.

Amazing vegan food! Friendly service and nice spot to sit on the balcony. Will 100% be back. Had the vegan parmy, wings and jalapeño cheeseburger.

The place has been refurbished and it has a welcoming atmosphere serving reasonably priced meals overall good value for money.

We come purely for the trivia on a Wednesday night. Jolyon is the best trivia host in Newcastle.  And the bar has my favourite wine - Oyster Bay Sav Blanc. What else do you need?!

Always a good time at trivia. The host is always so engaged with the patrons. Food is usually at good standards. Friendly staff.
