I have been coming here for years and the staff here are always amazing. I recently had a medical event and Suzy and her staff called an ambulance and had me looked after amazingly well. My hair always looks fantastic and they are all very talented.

My husband and son have been regulars now for the last 4 weeks ever since the new Barber with the tattoos came on board. 
Both are fussy about who cuts their hair but this Barber takes the time to ask them what sort of cut they want and also provides great customer service skills which a lot of salons lack these days. Put people before profits!

I have been a client here for many years and am always getting comments on how good my hair looks after a visit to Suzy and her staff. The team are unfailingly polite and I have heard them dealing with many difficult and demanding clients. I have thick long hair that takes a long time to colour and blow wave. My sister also gets her hair done here whenever she comes over from Perth. The pricing is very reasonable and the staff are welcoming and professional 5 stars from me👍👍👌

I will never go here again after my experience in March. I didn’t want to post publicly but I am still so angry while I wait for it to grow. Asked for a trim on my hair which was down to my chest..(I was growing it). I now have hair that won’t fully tie up into pony tail as one side is much longer than the other....  I didn’t quite realise how bad it was untill I got home as the lady didn’t dry my hair off.... my friends were shocked and told me to go and ask for a refund. When I did- I was told the policy was not to give refunds... another lady tried to fix it but it was cut so short and uneven it was impossible to fix it without cutting it even shorter- the shortest parts are above my chin! And this is nearly 2 months later while I wait for it to grow. Very. Very unhappy and embarrassed.

Hairlab is  the best salon in Manukau Mall. Have never been dissappointed with them.
