GW has been the most incredible place to train over the last year. There are a lot of regular CrossFit and Strength & Conditioning sessions that run daily - both before and after working hours, and also during the day. If not in a class, there are always coaches around who are extremely knowledgeable and happy to provide guidance. There are also increasing amounts of social activities - a beach workout, touch rugby, and barbecues all good opportunities to make friends in the area and talk to some really interesting people.

GW Performance is by far and away the best gym I have trained at to date. There is a misconception about Crossfit/S&C types of gyms that you need to be an elite athlete with all the attributes of a high class weightlifter or pro athlete to get involved in classes and be welcomed by all...this might be the case for most gyms out there...but not for "GW". The welcoming by members and coaches alike makes for a comfortable and fun environment..not to mention the high level of knowledge the coaches possess. They have the ability to tailor to all needs which is why they are the best in the business. The facility itself is second to none. I mean, what gym in Melbourne posesses an ice bath! 12-14 degrees of the best recovery sessions EVER. Get down and give it a go 👍

GW Performance is amazing. It's a great community, and the coaches really do care about your improvement. There is a lot of focus on reaching goals and working on technique. I found the crossfit classes here were well-structured, and emphasised stretching and preparing your body before the workouts. There are plenty of classes throughout the day, and the gym is large and well-equipped. I'd tried a few crossfit gyms in the area, and this is by far the best!

GW performance has helped get my motivation and enjoyment for training back. When I moved to Melbourne I was struggling with my training and not enjoying it so I was extremely happy to find GW Performance. Their facility is world class and the trainers have an abundance of knowledge around all facets of training. The best thing I have enjoyed about GW Performance is the fact that they take care of the programming for you each time you come into train. The programming is varied but suited to your individual goals. I was able to hit a 200kg deadlift, safely, something I thought I would never be able to do. If you are looking for a gym that is member focused, makes you accountable for training and makes training enjoyable then pop into GW Performance and check it out.
