I don’t recommend the veggie enchilada. They can’t get the balance of the flavours right with what’s on the inside vs outside it. The corn chips are unremarkable. The fries just meh. I like the veggie burrito. I have tried adding sour cream unlike other places, it strangely takes away from it and adding coriander did nothing for it either. The veggie filling is a limited mix of capsicum, onion and corn. Any vegetarians who have ate at their competitor or any other good Mexican knows this is rather boring. Having said that, it is still tasty and something I eat often. I suggest ordering as is and asking for spicy. My next suggestion is to stack up on Woolies own brand of plain corn chips and put them inside your burrito. Trust me, it will taste amazing. My husband likes to eat them at home, add extra cheese and put in the air fryer for 10 minutes for a crispy cheesy taste sensation.
Love the food here. Ordered from the app in the carpark, then walked inside and grabbed my order within 5 minutes of ordering. Even then i was apologised to by the server for the wait. Totally unnecessary I wish other 'fast food' shops were run this well.
I love Mexican..I like this place as it's quite trendy it has eating spaces both inside and outside. The servers are friendly, they seem to be sustainable. The food is good however the burritos have way too much rice and beans instead of the protein of choice. The cheese sauce is nice with the corn chips. My friend thought her pulled pork burrito was too dry. We both enjoy the condiments. I loved my margarita slushie. My friend loved her guava soda pop.
Been coming here for years and everyone's super nice - it's always fun to surprise mew workers with how many points we've racked up from eating here hahaFood: 5/5
1st time and food was great. My only complaint is paid 50cents for less than 1/2teaspoon of sour cream on my nachos...could be more.Food: 5/5
The Brown guy who wear the cap always didn’t know to how to attend the customer. He attended me like that I’m coming from another planet or another galaxy .like seriously . Teach him how to speak with customers. The worst service I ever seen in my life. Like I give 0 out of 10 for him .
Nice food with lovely staff. One of the best GG in NSW. Always crowded with people. It offers dine in and take away options.
Went with my daughter yesterday. Never been to a Guzman y Gomez before. I had the vegetarian nude bowl and my daughter had the beef bowl. It was amazing. Fresh, tasty and filling. My new favourite eat out. Staff friendly and helpful.
As a self-proclaimed burrito connoisseur, I have to say that Guzman Y Gomez Penrith has consistently provided the best burritos this side of the equator. Their burritos and fries are always served fresh and hot regardless of how busy they are, with the perfect amount of seasoning and toppings. Their salsas are delicious and always add the right amount of heat to the food. I have never been disappointed by food bought here, and always recommend everyone check out GYG for their burrito cravings. I cannot recommend this place enough. Well done, all. As an aside, I'm not a fan of their new app. It lacks the personality of the old version, despite retaining the functionality.
Always order from here, which we usually really enjoy. Last occasion though, I ordered a quesadilla with all these extra ingredients, but when we received it, a 3 small bits of meat, no extra ingredients. Was barely anything on there and husband was so hungry afterwards. The container was also small. Also it took 30+ minutes for us to receive our meal. We had to go up a few times to ask if our order was ready and we kept getting told soon. Then we asked again and a girl panicked and found our meal in the draw. By then the chips were cold. First world problems I know, but makes me reluctant to buy here again unfortunately.
