Easily the worst Guzman’s I’ve had.nSoggy rice, watery beans sitting in their own juices and completely flavourless brisket. Barely a spoonful of the “house blend salsa” on top.nnOrdering was a mess. When we got to the payment window, the staff had no idea what we’d ordered. We had to reorder everything while one staff member argued with another about the computer system. Then we were asked multiple times if the payment had gone through.nnFor the price, this was a huge letdown. Zambrero is far better value for money, we’ll be going there from now on.
i usually love this place but the order i received on july 30th at around 10:15pm was not great. chips were only this full when i got them with pretty much no salt as you can see and there was a carrot disc in my burrito. i work in hospitality too and fully get mistakes like these when an order is made during peak dinner rush, but you'd hope for better when its 10pm and there's almost no other customers in store.
I don’t usually write bad reviews but it’s happened too often that I get a Rice and beans burrito…. I barely god like 2 tiny pieces of chicken and a tiny splash of pico de gallo…. Do the staff don’t want to brother making lots of guaca, chicken and pico de gallo? They now put just rice and beans only in the burritos all the time?…nnI paid for extra guac and it was almost invisible the whole way through…nnIt only happened at Burleigh tho. I have had my burrito at other GYG and it’s all fine…
Once again disappointed with take away order. There is almost always a mistake with orders. This time we got home to find out this ‘chicken’ quesadilla with almost no chicken…will be going to Zambrero’s next time
I've had GyG many, many times and from many different locations, and have never had a problem - except here. Likely my first and last time eating at this location - the chicken was both stone cold and burnt to a crisp, and the churros were stone cold and completely dried out. If you can, go to literally any other GyG on the GC.
