Govindas provides a tasty, freshly prepared menu that with many option to cover everyone's tastes. All food is vegetarian with vegan and gluten-free options.

Govindas is a Non-Profit business and when possible uses organic grown vegetables from our farm in Murwillumbah, NSW.

The vegetarian food on offer was sumptuous and healthy, however the presentation of the lasagne on the plate was ordinary and was barely warm. Service was not welcoming or friendly. They were serving food and processing payments with blank looks. Atmosphere was also lacking. Music would help as well as improving customer rapport.
The food here was satisfying, and the atmosphere felt warm and relaxed. I enjoyed the wide range of vegetarian dishes, especially the salads, which were crisp and full of flavor. The curries were mildly spiced, which was good for a more general palate, but I personally would've liked a bit more kick. The desserts were a nice finish to the meal—nothing too heavy. Service was prompt, but the staff could have been a little more engaging. Overall, it’s a good spot for a casual meal when you're in the area.

I love Govindas! I've been several times and it's always fresh, wholesome, vegetarian food, including salads, desserts and drinks. It's good value as well. They'll fill your plate or take away container to the brim. There's a few tables to dine in but it's always so busy when we're there so I feel lucky when we get a table. I definitely recommend if you're vegetarian or not, you'll still love it.
We had a wonderful meal at Govindas Burleigh Heads. We absolutely loved the food, it was fresh and delicious. Every dish was vegetarian and very wholesome.nWe were served by 2 wonderful girls, Judith and Vrinda who were so sweet and kind.nWe would recommend everyone to definitely try this gem of a place. Thank you so much to all who cooked the food and served it with love.nWe had the potato bake, thai curry, kofta, salad, rice and pakoras. They have an amazing menu.nPlease do visit them on your next trip to Burleigh Heads.
