We placed our card in to pay, and it said you can be paid an additional of 200 dollars as it's an unfamiliar card. We brought a male cashier over, and he just said it's nothing and pressed continue, and we filled up. There was no receipt that was given. A lady who was filling up also had the same issue, and she called the man over again. For her the first time she played, it never went through, so the guy took her card and placed it in for her. Both of us played an additional 200 dollars without petrol.
Bad customer service, the man behind was very short with me. tiny wee ice cream for $6 which I've had from many other night and day Stores and this was by far the smallest I've had at least half the size
The gull is always open and the prices are always good. The NIGHT AND DAY on the same lot is very over priced and many of the staff aren't trained to make drinks, often aren't manning the front ect. I've seen a lot of reviews mixing the two up as one. The gull is fantastic with good prices but doesn't take cash and the night and day is over priced with under trained staff.
Partner gets a coffee milkshake and the employee doesn't know how to make it. So my partner had to tell him step by step how to make it. Then the machine to froth up the milk stopped working, so he couldn't make my partners drink. He was the only person working in there. Then when he was making my energy shake the soft serve machine had broke and didn't tell us it did. So he made it with french vanilla ice cream. You might think it sounds good, but really it tasted like it had gone off. This wasn't our first time stopping in either. It hasn't given us a good impression. I'd just wait until the next night and day if you really want something from there
It's good to see Gull is charging a fair price on their fuels especially with how the price of fuel is on the rise. I've noticed Gulls prices can be as much as 20 cents per litre cheaper diesel than their competitors further up Chapel st. Good on you Gull. You have my business and will continue to do so....
