Your normal NZ servo, has all the things you'd expect plus a carwash. The best thing would be the staff and there friendly attitudes. Watch the "Free Air" pump as it wasn't working correctly at the time of writing this.
I first visited Z Masterton because I had learned that 'Z' was a NZ owned business. However since that first visit I purchase my petrol at 'Z' also because of the Great service I receive. Thanks 'Z'.

Unbelievably unacceptable way I was spoken to by Staff. I was patiently waiting for 2 staff to finish their conversation so I opened my wallet to find my EFTPOS card. I heard "Have you got diesel?" I didn't think the staff behind the counter was speaking to me, as I hadn't seen her she was behind the coffee machine talking to the Forecourt Attendant when I walked in. I have a Mitsubishi Lancer station wagon, and do not use Diesel. So it took me a couple of seconds to look up and say "are you talking to me?" 1. Firstly since when is a Greeting completely missed out in Customer Service She replied with a bizarre demeaning attitude as if I was a second class citizen that she thought it was okay to talk down to me. She said with obvious attitude 'Yeah. Have you got diesel?! Petrol?! Have YOU got PETROL on the forecourt?! Do you want petrol?! as she was pointing out towards my vehicle on the Forecourt. At this point I was in shock. WHY did this female think the way she was speaking to me was OKAY? I am rarely lost for words, but I was. I just couldn't believe she thought this was okay. I eventually gathered myself and said to the effect "Why are you talking to me like that? Who do you think you are? You need an attitude adjustment." My hands were shaking, I felt so threatened by her prejudicial horrible demeanor that I couldn't concentrate on finding the discount card. I asked if there was an email for the manager? She said no. I asked What's your manager's name? Andy. I have requested to Head Office of Z Energy the video footage be saved under the Privacy Act 1993, to assist with my Complaint. My question I always ask myself when I get spoken down to for no reason in public or treated like a second class citizen I always ask myself and in this case was : Would she have spoken to a white man or a white woman like the way she just spoke down to me. And it was HOW she spoke to me. I initially thought she was still talking to the Forecourt Attendant that may have still been in the store behind me? I thought she could have been talking to another customer that may have walked in behind me? I can't believe she was completely ignorant and thought it was okay to speak to anyone like that. She needs to be fired. I know I would fire her if I would have observed that behaviour to a Customer in store. Z MASTERTON is known as having amazing staff, amazing customer service which I have always received, so this is really bizarre. It wasn't bad customer service it was shocking.
I didn't have a great experience here. First off to save having to try to get my electric chair out of the car I go to places that accept my card at the pump. These were down but someone had parked and left there car so close I couldn't get my chair out another car had stopped in front so I literally couldn't move my car anywhere. Luckily I had a passenger with me who kindly ran in to pay and also grabbed me a car wash. While there I had the time to run it through, but the wash was the 2nd best one which entailed the back and forth of soap, same with the washer, then wax, then a dry - cat I got was a one way squirt of soap, a one way wash, then quick dry. I was not happy as saw right away it hadn't even taken the spider web's off the side mirrors I've always used car washes and they always get rid of the spider web's on the whole car - plus it still was pretty dusty/dirty like it hasn't had anything done except a squirt of water. My friend went and got the manager who came out and saw the car and apologized saying he was sick of this happening. Guess it wasn't a first. He gave me a free one for Z but closed his one down to wait for it to be fixed by a company. I never did get my car wash as it ran out before I got to a Z again. Due to that I haven't been back to Z again as never had car wash problems at BP where I normally go. BP is the handiest easiest station for me to go through rather than choice. So petrol is good to get if their cards work on the pumps, but it sounds like their car washes do this on a regular basis, so check your car out after you've been through one to make sure it's done what it should have - some ppl don't notice when it's wet that's it's still actually dirty!
