I love my designer clothing.. however as soon as the person serving me, turns their nose up.. that's the end of the transaction. Ive never had this experience at Gucci.. let alone Gucci of Melbourne. Highly recommend asking for Emmy, one of Gucci's best women to show you the range and shop with!
We had a great customer experience in purchasing a belt and shoes. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and the store was quite busy. This would have been a 5 star review if it wasn’t for the security guard who grunted at us as we walked in. We weren’t sure what he was trying to tell us. He also just glared at everyone as if they were criminals, really strange when people are leaving the store with shopping bags filled with goods worth thousands that they’ve just paid for.
My wife and I were pretty disappointed about our experiences at Gucci Melbourne. We visited the store twice within a week, and we received from the staff totally different information regarding the availability of the same belt bag. The staff told us also totally wrong information about the Tourist Refund Scheme TRS. The second product advisor was unfriendly and arrogant. After we researched in the store about the requirements to claim the TRS, and that we cannot receive the TRS, if we buy the bag now, the staff told us: "To be honest, 160 AUD is really not much. I would buy the bag now." It makes us happy, that the staff at Gucci earns that much money, but for us is 160 AUD still a lot of money, even though we could easily afford the belt bag. What kind of arrogant self-image do Gucci employees convey here? Therefore, we really didn't have a nice shopping experience and prefer to spend our money in a boutique where we feel welcomed in a friendly way.
5-star experience. Very attentive Hui Ng looked after us on a recent visit and gave us some great advice! Compared to experiences such as Louis Vuitton these days, which is basically shop from a roaming staff members phone and they’ll find a counter spot to give you your items, Gucci collins street is winning hands down for customer experience in comparison
I lost my wallet so I went to my beloved Collins St store and I’m so happy I did as I met Emmy. Absolutely fabulous at her job and was so patient with me as I have a hard time making a decision as I go back and forth a lot but she had amazing feedback and then we expended to shoes, hats and more and again, amazing at everything, but then we decided I’d come back the next day with my fiancé and surprise them with a bit of retail therapy. Arrived the next day, Emmy brought out the items from the previous day and offered us drinks, then my fiancé tried on some shoes, loved the new wallet and we had such a fun morning and we’ll only shop with Emmy now. The store layout and product range is the best it’s ever been and is trumping other designers pretty hard this season.
Bought a bag from here with my mum in January. We both had a lovely experience in store with the young lady who served us.
I had an awesome experience with Kate earlier this year who helped us choose a gift, adding her extra touch by providing a nice card for me to sign.
Having no idea if stores like Gucci are busy post-lockdown, I booked online to make sure they had the bag I wanted. I was contacted by Alex, who was super helpful and friendly & was contacted the morning of pick up again to confirm he had still put it aside for me. I did not have to wait at all - so definitely recommend booking if you can to avoid disappointment. In store, I didn’t feel pressured or uncomfortable, I felt like a valuable customer buying my very first designer handbag. Super accommodating. Couldn’t fault the service, and I got a beautiful bag! Thanks so much to Alex! I hope I can be in a position to by from Gucci again some day!
Incredible service at Collins St store. I needed an urgent gift sent out same day as i was in hospital and unable to attend the store. Anissa in client services went about and beyond to make it happen. Very happy shopper and I have also had lovely in-store experiences as well.
Big thanks to Lily, who’s at DJ Bourke outlet. Helped me contacted this store and get me the bag that I wanted. Thanks Peter for the warm service.
