While the shopping area is compact, it offers a well-curated selection of essential items. The Department of Transportation is likely the main draw for most visitors, serving as a key reason for the area's foot traffic.
A very quick & easy visit to Queensland Transport, will definitely be going there again when needed due to the minimal wait times. Also visited the dollar shop within the Greenslopes Mall. What a huge variety of things to buy/look at. Had to tear myself away before I bought one of everything. Unfortunately I was targeted slightly for a bag check but hey, that's life...
A small shopping centre with easy parking. There's a Coles in the centre which was the reason for my visit. Enjoyed the festive decorations entering up the ramp. There looks to be a few vacant spaces & there is only one cafe/ coffee shop. Looks to be a good butcher & a few other small businesses
Being disabled I have to plan trips to places by examining them in Google Maps. Everything I can see of Greenslopes Mall shows that it is disabled inaccessible, unless you are accessing the shopping centre by car. Greenslopes Mall does NOT have a disabled accessible entrance on Logan Road where the bus stop is. That main shopping centre entrance is stairs only, no ramp, or elevator visible. The car park accesses on Sackville St, and Plimsoll St, have no pedestrian access paths. So there is no safe access from them, to the undercover car park, and into the shopping centre itself. One star out of five, a shopping centre that is disabled inaccessible by deliberate design.
Good enough to pop in to pick up something from Coles but pretty ordinary considering the space and the demographic - needs better stores.
