Story

We are Melbourne based and take pride in delivering a natural alternative to healthy eating. All our produce is locally sourced and we offer organic, gluten free, vegan, and GMO-free options. As parents, we are very passionate in our stance against genetically modified produce. A family owned and run business, we realise how important it is to support our local farmers in order to maintain a sustainable future. Our menu has been created by our amazing chef and nutritionalist who was given only one brief: deliver flavour and taste to health and nutrition, and make it taste awesome.

History
Any memory you may have has a flavour and a taste, It takes our soul to a warm forgotten place. For us our combined family history brings Green Remedy its memory:

Back in the 1800's Balazs Kovacs began healing fellow villagers by growing his own herbs and applying centuries of knowledge of plant life and it's therapeutic properties. This was then passed onto his son Gyorgy Kovacs ,who then used the roots of native Hungarian tree roots and herbs to make therapeutic teas, sourced from the surrounding forrests. He was well renowned and honoured. The founder of a respected sanatorium, he provided treatment and healing for the less fortunate. He created a culture of natural healing which has filtered through the generations and has been the catalyst of our quest into our pursuance for a greater path to health and wellness.

In the mountains of Northern Greece, many generations ago, a farming culture was spawned. A history of farming that still survives through all adversity and has spread its culture to our children, sharing the passion of natural and organic produce. We are proud to bring to you produce from our humble vegetable gardens grown in our own backyards. Flavour comes from love and love comes from nature.
