I will absolutely come back again.nMe and my friends went to this restaurant on Sunday morning , We sat outside because all the seats inside were reserved, so I suggest reserving a place in advance.nThe location of the restaurant is unique on this street because of the small garden in front of it, so for those who value a little green in their eyes, this is the best place on Glen Huntly road.nBeyond that, the service was lovely, the waiters were cute.nWe ordered coffee and breakfast and enjoyed them all. My dish was the richest and worth the price for those who are vegetarian and also for those simply like vegetables like me, I recommend taking the vegetarian breakfast.
Salmon Benedict, Chili Eggs, and Smashed Avocado are all delicious and a must order! Flat white and Mocha for coffee tastes very good as well! They really improved the menu and all staff are really hospitable!!!
Overall a nice cosy place, not so loud during the day for casual lunch. Service was great. Food was average. The beef burger was a little dry not sure if needs a bit more sauce or seasoning. Salmon soba was a little under as inside still raw and cold, soba salad taste was a bit heavy.
Enjoyed the dining experience and atmosphere of this place. Not too busy and we were pleased to have been able to comfortably hold a conversation.nThe pricing of the sharing plates was astonishing for what we got, unfortunately none of the options we ordered were good enough to justify the prices. The attached platter cost us $100 which we don't believe was value for money.nExcellent service though, really helpful and attentive staff.
Recently had dinner service at the Goathouse, and was very impressed with their service staff and menu offerings.nSituated across the road from Classic Cinemas, Elsternwick made this the first choice for my guests for a relaxed dinner after the movies. And we were not disappointed at all.nThe grilled prawns and fish tacos from the shared menu options was a good starting point and set us all up well for the mains.nThe salmon with soba noodles and the pork ribs were delicious. We all were so stuffed with dinner that we didn’t have place for desserts, and, coming from me, that’s saying something!nThank you to the staff at the Goat House for your hospitality and amazing customer service.
